[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_07]: we got a full house. That's for sure. At any rate, tonight we're going to be chatting

[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_07]: with the ladies. Women's doubles champions from the 2024 tornado championship, extraordinary

[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_07]: performance. We're going to talk about that tonight for sure. Of course, talking about

[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_07]: Foosball, it's always good when you've got somebody else to want to chat with you about

[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_07]: Foosball, which would be Brandy Raposo from the Great State of Alabama, a low Randy.

[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey Tom, how are you this evening? You look cold.

[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_01]: It was first day of fall, officially was at the time. That's right. That's right. Yeah,

[00:02:54] [SPEAKER_01]: happy equinox. Yeah, that word. It was like 80, it was morning.

[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_01]: And then yeah, I went up to like low 90s, you know, Tom, Tom to bust out the sweatshirt.

[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, man. Wow. And this is coming from a former Northeasterner. You've still 68 in my house.

[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, man. You let your blood get you thin. You're, you blood is way too thin, man. That's

[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_01]: all there is to it. Yeah. Yeah. So there's still sunny. It was a nice day. I heard, you know,

[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_01]: my, everybody in my mom's house is sick. I call my mom, my grandma, the twice a day. They're all

[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_01]: sick and they were complaining about whether and I'm like, I'm like, it's beautiful here. Well,

[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_07]: well, I mean here in upstate New York, we've had a stunning nine days of sunshine and 75 degrees

[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_07]: every day. It's just been amazing. And if you don't mind before we really get started today,

[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_07]: I just, I need to share this with somebody who can relate, right? Before we went on there,

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_07]: we talked about, you know, you guys had a leak in your house. You had some major damage and stuff like that.

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_07]: And, and on this end, you know, we also had a leak this week. I'll be enough in our, in our,

[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_07]: tankless water heater. And I had to put a bucket under the thing and it just, you know,

[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_07]: it's, I had to empty it every two hours because every time the hot water turned on, this thing was leaking.

[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_07]: So I took it apart and I found where it was leaking and I, and I, I ordered the part

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_07]: and then I replaced the part and it now works and it's not leaking, man. I just had to say that.

[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Myself. Like sweet. That's awesome. I like you probably say, you probably saved yourself like a

[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_01]: couple grand at least. I mean, that's what I would have charged you to fix it. Well, I mean,

[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_07]: the actual water heater itself is about 1,400 bucks for brand new and so oh yeah, but still,

[00:04:40] [SPEAKER_07]: I mean, my wife and I, I mean, I'm, I am totally inept when it comes to anything mechanical.

[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't know which end of the hand. You're not obviously you're not, Tom. So suddenly,

[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm feeling, manly. You're not just like, just a little bit. So I had to search

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_07]: of men, menliness and I just thought maybe if you could like say, wait, go, dude, you are,

[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_01]: you're the man. I'm so proud of you. I'm so proud of you right now. Yeah, yeah, I look.

[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_01]: I sprung a leak first thing I did. I got mad with that all the drywall found the leak and then I was like,

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm a plumber. Yeah. Well, no, where was it coming from though? Oh, it was, we had some bad

[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_01]: pecks. We got a house replam. There was just a little piece of that was like the last five

[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_01]: foot of pecks that they didn't do coming off the hot water tank right at the top. So the kid

[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_01]: that came in, this is the third time this company's coming to our house and he was like, yeah,

[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_01]: if you just fixed it right the first time and I was like, bro, I said, don't, I said, you're talking

[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_01]: to a wrong guy. So I said, how much are you going to charge me and then he gave me a number and I was like,

[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_01]: okay, compared to the other two, I mean anyway, Tom, I'm not, I don't want to get mad before the show

[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_01]: starts. No, I guess. Yeah, I've been so home just whole week. I'm really looking forward to talking

[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_01]: to these ladies. We got two beautiful ladies on tonight, green small players, brown champs. So and

[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_01]: then and then talk about beautiful. We've got my green here too. So of course. Yeah, he holds up

[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_07]: her end of the bargain here. And by the way, Mike is now our Florida correspondent and he's just going to,

[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_07]: what is this? What is this? What is this? I'm about pretty close. There comes an interference on

[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_07]: the play timeout timeout interference on the play. Don, don Wilson are you there. We can see you.

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I am here. There you are. I'm not. What do I always tell you? I have to see your hands in face at the

[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_02]: button. So look, I just went outside had to put up the chickens and I had about

[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_02]: 12 on top of one poop and then my new baby chickens, they don't figure that out. I had to get

[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_02]: on other clips. I spent a lot of time sweating and running. So chasing down chickens. So I probably

[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_02]: don't look too hot. But I mean, if you didn't see us, I mean, I'd be the judge. There you go. Look

[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_02]: it down. Yeah. Look at that. Oh yeah. Look at that. Oh yeah. Look at that. We are set. Hey,

[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_02]: we are set. I don't want to take up any time. I just wanted to come all here to graduate these

[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_02]: ladies for their accomplishment. Oh, because that's a life dream in here. Of course. And well,

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_02]: you know, being a farm I go to bed early because I wake up early so I didn't want to miss the show.

[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I just want to come all there and tell them congratulations again. That was a battle. But you

[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_02]: set out for a goal and you're reached your goal and I'm proud of you guys. Are you girls?

[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you. I love appreciate that. And look, I know I heard a rumor about, you know, retirement or something.

[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_02]: But you know, I hope that was just a rumor because y'all did qualify to go to Spain next year for

[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_02]: USTSO. You know, we have a player. Y'all won women doubles and so that automatically qualified

[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_02]: you for that event. So think about it. That's an experience you don't want to ever pass up.

[00:08:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, my parents were just in Spain. They said it was beautiful. They enjoyed it.

    [00:08:06] [SPEAKER_02]: It's something you'll never forget. And it's not a war.

[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Warp in your team. It was amazing. It's amazing. So all right. Well, y'all have a great. If you

[00:08:17] [SPEAKER_02]: got any questions from me, go ahead and pop them in there. But I think you're often enjoyed the show.

[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_07]: Watch the news lady. So all right. We'll do it. It's always great to have a man. Yeah.

[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, well, I'm not as a check-in. I'm two days of collecting eggs in my wife,

    [00:08:54] [SPEAKER_07]: see you. Let's let's let's let's let's talk again. Well, okay. Well, and as I was saying,

[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_07]: Mike Green or Florida correspondent. We're going to talk a little bit of course tonight about

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_07]: what's coming up next weekend in Florida State and the masters open. But before we get to all of

[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_07]: that, we need to officially welcome in Maggie Strong and Jessica, no Jessica, I'm practicing this.

[00:09:17] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm trying to get it right. Sam Flayman, Jessica, Sam Flayman. I did it. Nice. Yes.

[00:09:26] [SPEAKER_07]: I wrote it down. So anyway, so guys, yeah, what Don said, congratulations.

[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_07]: Thank you, thank you. It's really interesting in the sense that being at the 2024

[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_07]: tornado championships, that I don't know about you guys, but I felt like it was

[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_07]: so exceptional in so many different ways. And of course, one of which was your victory in the sense

[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_07]: that you said, hey, wait a second, we're still great players. Yeah, there's some young upstarts coming

[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_07]: through the ranks and they're good in the, they typically, they were looking to do a four-peat

[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_07]: of their, they're open, their, their women's open doubles record. But you said, uh, hold on a second,

[00:10:09] [SPEAKER_07]: not happening. Ladies first and that's what you did. So, what happened?

[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_05]: I, do you want to, do you want to start off? I'll give you a start.

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, first of all, you have an eight-time world champion in the four-time world champion. Well,

[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_01]: there's that. There's that. That's what, that's what I was going to ask Maggie, how many do you

[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_04]: have now? I have that one, the last tournament. I won three titles that made eight. Wow.

[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I made eight and Jessica. That's my fourth. Four-peat. I know you want, I know you won singles

[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_05]: once, right? Twenty-seven-teen. Yeah, 2017 with singles, 2018 and 2019 with doubles with

[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_01]: the majority of them are out from Florida. God. So three doubles won singles. Okay. Yeah.

[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_01]: So, so 12, but we need to, and this is what I think people fail to understand. You know,

[00:11:10] [SPEAKER_01]: they look at, uh, and again, no, there's a special moment in Hannah, both great, great players,

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_01]: but you know, there's been a lot of shine on them. There, this was, there were going for their

[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_01]: fourth year, but, um, between the two of you and then Miss Liz and Christina, uh, Tracy Brubaker,

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_01]: also a world champion, there were, um, it was a handful of ladies there that have multiple

[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_01]: world champions. So, you know, it can, was this one of the toughest fields you've ever faced,

[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_04]: realistically, Maggie first? Please. I do not feel like it was at all. Really?

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_04]: No, because growing up in the, you know, in the 90s and the early 2000s, I feel like

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_04]: there was a, and I don't have to be wrong, but I feel like there was a bigger field in the women's.

[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_04]: But we, um, we have to play Liz and Christina to get to the finals and, you know, it's,

[00:12:08] [SPEAKER_04]: we've been there many times with them and we had lost to them earlier in the year. I love Jessica

[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_04]: and she's like, anytime we would lose or, you know, earlier in the year, she's like,

[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_04]: it's our time. We're getting at this time, you know, and she, she gets so determined and so

[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_04]: fired up. And, um, so, you know, we have beat, you know, these players in the past, they beat us

[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_04]: equally as many times. But, um, the finals obviously anytime you go up against Veda and, and Isabelle,

[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_04]: that's going to be, you know, tough, but I feel like, you know, it was a shorter journey to get to the,

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_04]: you know, to the finals, there weren't as many teams that, you know, yeah. So, in that sense, no,

[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_05]: but, um, I don't know, just what do you think? Yeah, I agree, you know, plus with the championship

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_05]: format, that's one last match we had to play. Um, but yeah, the match with Liz and Christina was,

[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_05]: over time it was tough down to the wire and, I mean, you couldn't win either way. And, and,

[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_05]: as Maggie said, we lost to them, I think it was Dallas. We're playing classic doubles. I think it

[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_05]: might have been a, like part of the qualifiers. But, um, yeah, they beat us and, and I was like,

[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to do the stuff again. Like this is, this is, this is the go to the final version.

[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, and then right behind us was the match going on between Sullivan and Hannah and Tracy and

[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Anne and Ali. And Ali, Rebecca. Yeah. So halfway through our match, we found out that Sullivan and Hannah

[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_04]: lost. And at that moment, it became surreal that like just when I look at each other and I think it,

[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_04]: I think I was in the moment, but I think it was Shannon Kooley came up and said,

[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_04]: this is laid out for y'all. You got this. Yeah. So, yeah. So, at that point, I was like,

[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_04]: oh my gosh, we have a, we do have an app and all of it. We didn't have a shot against Sullivan and

[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_04]: but we've been there a lot, you know. And in the finals, they probably, you know, they had a good

[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_04]: sense of winning obviously number four. But we just, I felt like it was at that moment, it became

[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_04]: a cannibal that, oh my gosh, this could really be laid out, you know, in our favor for the way

[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_05]: the bracket fell. Should I say? This, yeah, we played against a bit of the whole, sorry, we played against

[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_05]: Veda and Isabella and the finals at the state for women's doubles. And they did a double dipping

[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_05]: us. So, that was another motivator, we went into the finals as well. See Jessica flips those things,

[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_04]: like she's like, ah, no more never getting on my call. They're just a four, you know, like, I'm

[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_04]: the best because she's like, sister, we got this. We were doing, they're not beating me again. They're

[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_07]: not doing that again. And I love that about our determination. That's what it's all about and who

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_07]: wants to win this more oftentimes. In the moment for sure. Yeah, what's the match is that you guys

[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_00]: were definitely to me. Looks like the best team there. I know you didn't get to play Sullivan and

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Anna and I'm a goaly so Jessica, your goaly game was unreal. Yeah, well, that's the first game. So let's

[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_00]: go real, not first. Yeah. Well, I mean it didn't matter. That's the matters to the

[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_00]: batter, right? I mean, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Maggie earlier that I mean you guys are a team. You came

[00:15:32] [SPEAKER_00]: together. You got a good team. You could take all the names of the world put on together. Don't

[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_00]: make them a good team. You guys just did it. You, your determination to win. You just, who is it?

[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Your eyes, you can see it. You were thinking about nothing but they're not going to beat us this time.

[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. Yeah. You played off of that. If you were just like, you know what? I'm not going to let

[00:15:52] [SPEAKER_00]: us hurt out. You were just, you're always going to get the ball. You're always going to grab a huge

[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_00]: started. Just like you guys just had to look at like this is over. We're not losing this. It's

[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_00]: our title and they're not going to take it from. So I just thought that was pretty good to want.

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you. It was definitely, I said in the pre-interview is definitely got Almighty that we want

[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Jessica's defense that we won because anyone that knows me knows I'm going to get the ball enough

[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_04]: and am I going to score enough? I think they were doing stats. I could not. It was like 48 shots.

[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_04]: I had, it was the most ridiculous amount of shot. I don't know if that's ridiculous. I don't

[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_00]: feel. You just could hold the five board if you got that. Oh, right. And it's just, and the whole

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_01]: episode not getting discouraged after 40 seconds. I like to know, you know, I know you guys

[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_01]: were down two games. What change in that third game? I mean, obviously, so I know Jessica got

[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Jessica's de-changed up and she got some blocks but do you think getting those blocks change

[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_01]: momentum did something to them in their head or what do you think was the real difference

[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_04]: of that change momentum? Well, I will go first on that if you don't care. So unfortunately for me

[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_04]: and growing up playing when I went play back in the 90s and early 2000s to get to the,

[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_04]: I would bust my butt to get to the finals to get stomped by Cindy's 5050 or 5051. So I had been

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_04]: that position so many times and then we come and, here we got Isabelle in, you know, top two

[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_04]: girls to meet. I mean, just hats off at top in the world of course. And so we beat, we got beat

    [00:17:51] [SPEAKER_04]: like, was it 5, 2, 5, 0, the first two games? Yes, 5, 3, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 3, 3, 3,

[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_04]: ridiculous. Then the third game, we're down to 0 in the third game. So at that point, we pull back.

[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Jessica looks at me and says, hey, she always says, hang with me sister, hang with me sister.

[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_04]: And I, I, and I'm going to share you know how this was all a testimony and an answer

[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_04]: prayer for me, but I just looked up the God and I was like, God, not again. Like, I don't want

[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_04]: to, I don't want to be in this position to leave one of play well. You know what I mean? Like,

[00:18:26] [SPEAKER_04]: let me at least play well. Let me in 5051, here we are down, you know, 201, the third game.

[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Let me at least part as a pay go. And then, and I'm interested in, I just remember feeling

[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_04]: everything you got, everything you got. And when I step back up to the table, because I think we

[00:18:43] [SPEAKER_04]: might have took a time out at 2 o. Step back up or they did. And I just, I just felt it kind of

[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_04]: flow out of me, everything you have on the table. And Jessica shut Isabelle completely down

[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_04]: to the point where she was frustrated, you know, I'm not saying she couldn't have scored, but in

[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_04]: that moment, so Jessica adjusted that defense. I poured everything I had into my five bar and the

[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_04]: defense and keeping the ball away from them. And I think that's when it started to shift.

[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. So, yeah. And we worked for this all year. Like we made agreements. We had played together

[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_05]: North Carolina State last year. And that was our first time playing together. And we had really

[00:19:26] [SPEAKER_05]: chemistry on the table. And having good chemistry with a partner so important, no matter what

[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_05]: your skill levels, if you guys don't come to show me like it's just not there. And I want to play with

[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_05]: people that I like and that I want to win for. And Maggie and I had really a chemistry and we were

[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_05]: working towards this same thing. We wanted to win in qualifying with Spain. And we played pretty much

[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_05]: all year and worked for that in Oklahoma. Like we got close like Vegas. We got put out, I

[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_05]: think we took a second round and then worked our way back all the way to the place. Oklahoma

[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_05]: we got double dip. So we worked through a lot of things through the various tournaments that we

[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_05]: played this year. And I feel like it came to ahead at Worlds. And as Maggie was saying, it was kind of

[00:20:13] [SPEAKER_05]: this is our chance. And we're going to do this. This is the time to do it. And we made our

[00:20:20] [SPEAKER_05]: adjustments. And my mentality was I have a doctor to let fall in. Yeah. I'm everything I've

[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_05]: power. I'm a focus on my area and what I have to do and I'm a little Maggie do what she needs

[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_05]: to do. And give her the time that she needs. And I was just, you know, they call it the zone.

[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_05]: Whatever it is, like I was there. Like completely focused 100% in the moment. And that's what I

[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_07]: needed to do. So just a minute and we came out on top. So Jessica, it was just a give us an idea as to

[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_07]: when you started to block is about what is it was it a tell was it something you picked up on

[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_05]: suddenly. So I started out with the defense that I'd point to get started on my state. I played

[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_05]: a certain singles. And I played a faster defense with her and was pretty successful with that.

[00:21:13] [SPEAKER_05]: And so that's, eventually that's what I was going to go into that with. Did not work. And so essentially

[00:21:20] [SPEAKER_05]: I slowed it down. And I think that helped me a bit and then also think, you know, just nerves. And if

[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_05]: you start thinking about winning versus thinking about the ball, I think that can impact as well.

[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_05]: I wasn't, I stopped thinking about winning or losing. I stopped thinking about anything. But

[00:21:39] [SPEAKER_05]: that ball that we were playing at that moment. And it was my job to keep it out of the goal. That's it.

[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_04]: That's extraordinary. And I will say this to you as far as preparing for the world. You know,

[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Jessica and I, we didn't get a whole, we didn't hardly get any table time. You know, a couple

[00:21:54] [SPEAKER_04]: of tournaments between when we started playing in the world. But it was our daily grind. It was

[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_04]: actually a 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. and more at the gym. And I'm watching training videos, well,

[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm on the treadmill and we and she's won three and four and five miles a day. And it was the

[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_04]: mental. I knew that, you know, there's a scripture in the Bible that talks about David goes

[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_04]: boldly before the throne because he had spent time with God. You know, I wanted to make sure that

[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_04]: I felt worthy of being in the finals and winning. I was even tracking like Sullivan, you know,

[00:22:24] [SPEAKER_04]: mentioned that she tracks on, she's to track how much she practiced. Like I had to get that in my

[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_04]: heart to believe that I was entitled to win was a huge thing for me because any of you that know me

[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_04]: know that I don't, I may talk to smack talk. But if you know me, I, I, my belief level was not where

[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_04]: it needed to be. And I think that was the shifter for me and this plus physically,

[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_04]: I felt better in my body than I have at any tournament, probably size my early 20s and 30s.

[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_04]: I felt better physically when you're not competing against your own body. I think that does a

[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_04]: world of difference, you know, it's a world of difference as well. So, a combination of all those,

[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_04]: but Jessica walked in just when I got, I walked, arm and arm for the months and months leading up to that

[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_04]: in a mental unity in our spirit and our mind of what we were doing, what we were going there for.

[00:23:18] [SPEAKER_04]: So, I think that was even more important than any practice we could have put on the table for sure.

[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_05]: Now, supporting each other and, you know, just the day to day texting, hey, I did this.

[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_05]: I walked five miles, I went to the gym. I ate this. I did that like just working towards

[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_01]: feeling better mentally and physically. Very cool. So, holding each other accountable

[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah. And as a result, right? And obviously the work you were doing off the table,

[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_01]: you know, the proof is in the pudding, right? But, you know, you both, I mean, you're obviously

[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_01]: multiple time world champions, but, I mean, and again, I say this with complete respect. You both look

[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_01]: great. You both obviously came into worlds with a different mindset and in a different physical,

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_01]: eight different physical place. What are you guys doing that's different this year than maybe years in

[00:24:12] [SPEAKER_01]: past, if you don't mind sharing that with people as Maggie, you want to start?

[00:24:19] [SPEAKER_01]: You mean just the physical side of it, the training? Yeah. Like, I mean, so I know you and I talked

[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_01]: about our diets and what we got going on. But, again, like, I think people, I think like just

[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_01]: you know, the nasaris seems that we just, we go play football, we spend rods, we have a good time,

[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_01]: but I don't think people really understand the level of dedication it takes to be a world champion.

[00:24:42] [SPEAKER_04]: No. I mean, for me it was finding what makes my body feel the best, you know, and then

[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_04]: and going against what, you know, society would think or, you know, or what people would think,

[00:24:55] [SPEAKER_04]: you know, with what I'm eating or drinking or going to the gym or whatever and just,

[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_04]: you've got to find what works best for you because you can follow someone's plan or

[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_04]: or even in a football plan, whatever that is. But if it's not what is, you know, ministering

[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_04]: your heart and your spirit and making you feel the best. So for me, it was just eliminating things

[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_04]: that, you know, I have all the liberty to eat if I want them but just, you know,

[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_04]: what physically makes me feel good? What can I get through eating throughout the day that doesn't

[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_04]: make my body hurt or getting rid of inflammation? Just things like that because, you know, I turned 50

[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_04]: this last year. So I am no springticking. So for me, being able to get through that tournament without

[00:25:34] [SPEAKER_01]: any pain in my body was amazing. So yeah, yeah, I think again, people don't understand the physical

[00:25:43] [SPEAKER_01]: toll that a weekend of football actually does take on your body. Yes. And, you know, if you were to

[00:25:49] [SPEAKER_01]: include certain beverages and other things and maybe even some sugar, it really, I mean,

[00:25:58] [SPEAKER_01]: it hurts. It absolutely hurts. So, you know, Jessica, what are you, you know, what were you doing

[00:26:05] [SPEAKER_05]: physically to prepare for world's issue? Yeah, I mean, for me, I've been in a journey with

[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_05]: the COVID and I said, when you told the intelligence of this idea in the months of late

[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_05]: and for me, like I saw some video or something or contributed myself at the 12 to 12

[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_05]: and I was like, I got into a real pain in my heart. I took like started back in the gym

[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_05]: and it's been a slow and steady time for me. Yeah, slow and steady wins the race. It's been, you know,

[00:26:38] [SPEAKER_05]: a couple years now and I've got maybe eight problems left to go to get to where I was before COVID

[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_05]: and I'm kind of eating up with the lieutenant. I tried to do everything in moderation and I

[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_05]: don't want anything but I also, you know, working out makes me feel better mentally, physically,

[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_05]: but, you know, every day and then I play locally. I keep up with my local guys and girls playing

[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_05]: over in St. Louis and they keep me on my toes for sure. Nice. And then actually traveled to Knoxville

[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_05]: and played with the Tennessee folks before right before World's Two for the World's War

[00:27:21] [SPEAKER_05]: that was a lot of fun. It was great experience. Messing new folks. Yeah, they got a nice scene.

[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Knoxville is a it's beautiful. I mean the whole state of Tennessee, if you go from, if you cut

[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Tennessee and have in this my opinion, yeah, I know we got a lot of listeners don't hate on me

[00:27:38] [SPEAKER_01]: but if you cut the state and have from Nashville East, beautiful. I mean and there are certain

[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_01]: parts of West Tennessee that are great. I've been to Memphis, you can have it just saying. So I know

[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Grace Lans there and I'm an Elvis fan but I'm all set. Anyway, Elvis who?

[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Elvis, I go back to what you got to say about the coverage of this man. I'll just make a fourth

[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_00]: and play in the Hall of Yearway because I got a buddy of mine, the Nightball World Champion

[00:28:11] [SPEAKER_00]: and the food and pool and here's a go I say, I don't really see on the table as much anymore and

[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_00]: as I practice in my mind. What does that even mean? He goes, it helped me in a lose ball when

[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I played because he said well, go over all my matches in my head. What I did wrong is always one mistake.

[00:28:30] [SPEAKER_00]: One mistake you cost your whole match. It was funny when I started thinking about that because

[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_00]: that was just like okay next tournament whatever let's go but I started thinking okay at this point

[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_00]: I did this and I did it again and these things cost me. I don't know if you guys are talking

[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_00]: about the same thing and I just found that interesting how he said that he would it helped me a lot

[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_00]: by thinking like that like why did I blow this at what point? Yeah, I think I'm saying 20

[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_05]: with that and I think a lot of people can do that but to me like people's technically changes

[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_05]: like for me, I think a lot of the game like I've got the muscle memory and the skillset

[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_05]: to do what I need to do. It's the mental focus and the confidence to do what I need to do

[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_05]: and just focusing on each ball one by one in focus on this not that's not that's not that

[00:29:31] [SPEAKER_05]: little by the less I told Maggie when we were playing and like despite with me,

[00:29:35] [SPEAKER_07]: fight with me, fight with me, I'm just hurt. Mental toughness sounds like a virtue especially in

[00:29:44] [SPEAKER_01]: a situation like that. And the being in the moment thing, that's really big. I think that's

[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_01]: something that not a lot of people give credit to or pay attention to when you were talking about

[00:29:57] [SPEAKER_01]: not thinking about winning and just focusing on this ball and being in the moment, especially for

[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_01]: football. I mean, I think that's huge. That's very impactful. Now, I want to ask you guys a question

[00:30:07] [SPEAKER_01]: that may be a little silly but for me it's I hear it and it drives me absolutely insane. What do

[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_01]: you guys think about that finals music? Does that not just drive you insane? Is it not like nails

[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_05]: or a short point? I just be able to take your own song to walk it out to you. Like I like that.

[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_05]: I like it. Like you get some personality and some flair. Like I'm not gonna lie.

[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Right. That would make more sense. It's meaningful to you. Of course. Okay. Okay. Well, so

[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_01]: you guys each can pick out your own song. What would you pick? Oh, my 2017 song,

[00:30:44] [SPEAKER_07]: sabotage by BC boys. Hey, go. My goodness. Great choice. Great choice.

[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Maggie. BC boys. Well, that's tough for me because you know I am with music but it

[00:30:55] [SPEAKER_04]: probably would probably be Katy Perry. Or just because she talks about being a champion and again,

[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I always need that reassurance that you are a champion even though you think you're not. So.

[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_01]: For me that would be okay. All right. You got the eye of the tiger? Yeah. All right.

[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_05]: The eye of the tiger. Well, I'd come back and what's funny is

[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_05]: try before I played our match. Like I know it's certain songs that Maggie likes like when we

[00:31:22] [SPEAKER_05]: groom together and she plays music and getting ready and she's got this in the top of

[00:31:27] [SPEAKER_05]: a wedding field song. I'm written that she plays pretty much I hear it every time that we're together.

[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_05]: I hear anything over and literally I went to the women's restaurant before we put our final

[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_05]: and that song came on and I was like, if that's not a sign that we're not going to play.

[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Something you said for that. No question. Yeah. Wow. Yeah. I wish I'd wish they'd let

[00:31:50] [SPEAKER_01]: players pick their own music again like it used to be because and I know Mr. Dawn was listening

[00:31:54] [SPEAKER_01]: and I know he can pull some strings. That song drives me absolutely every time I hear it,

[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_05]: I just want to bang my head until my head. I need what we do know. We know what's happening.

[00:32:04] [SPEAKER_00]: He's replied in the group that he will, uh, he can do that. He said we can't. We can do that.

[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. Let's go. Okay. Okay. Let's go. Get it done. This is my top.

[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Listen to hear about the elephant in the room. I want to talk to Maggie about Maggie. What's your future

[00:32:19] [SPEAKER_01]: look like? Going to Spain. She's going to Spain next year to play on to play at the work up. Right.

[00:32:26] [SPEAKER_04]: So, um, over the last year even though Jess and I've been training, just felt like it,

[00:32:34] [SPEAKER_04]: there was I was away from home too. So I felt like I wanted, you know, I'm waiting for

[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_04]: grand babys soon and I'm very active in my church and you know, we all know there's only so many

[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_04]: hours and a day at our life. And I do not like being so spread then that I don't do anything

[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_04]: at 100%. I was going through some work stuff and anyway, but I just felt in my spirit that it's

[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_04]: it's probably time to think about retiring. And, um, I never mentioned it's here's a good never said

[00:33:05] [SPEAKER_04]: anything, you know, just kind of been crying about it, you know? And, and I've been at a church service

[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_04]: a couple of weeks before the world's well, let me back up. I, I'm going to get a lot of

[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_04]: pushback on this one that I feel like we're getting ready to enter into some crazy times in our

[00:33:21] [SPEAKER_04]: world. Again, I, I can't, you can't believe the back of the book and not believe the front of

[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_04]: the, you know, front of the book and the back of the book, the Bible, it's a lot of referring to.

[00:33:30] [SPEAKER_04]: There's crazy times coming, okay? And I am not one to really want to be away from home when

[00:33:35] [SPEAKER_04]: those things happen. So I have that in the back of my head as well. But just had confirmation

[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_04]: at a church service, you know, leading up to that. And I'm going to absolutely call up Jessica

[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_04]: to text Jessica and I'm said, hey, I said we've watched some on the news and just, you know,

[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_04]: again, praying like, I just want to let you know that there is a slim chance that if we win,

[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_04]: I may not be going to say. Because at that point, I was like, I don't know that I want to leave

[00:33:59] [SPEAKER_04]: the country. I'd qualify for, you know, tournaments before, but throughout my career and my son was

[00:34:04] [SPEAKER_04]: small. And I'm like, I'm not leaving the country. If I can't walk back to my child, I'm not going,

[00:34:09] [SPEAKER_04]: you know? So I didn't know for that reason, you know, earlier in my career. And this time was just,

[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_04]: just don't know that going out the country for me is the smartest thing to do. So I, I messaged

[00:34:20] [SPEAKER_04]: her and I said, hey, I totally understand because I what I didn't want to do is go and win and then

[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_04]: and then it mess her up for going to Spain. And I said, so if you want to try to find someone else

[00:34:29] [SPEAKER_04]: to play with, I totally understand qualify, you know, do what you need to do for your career,

[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_04]: you know? And she said, well, she goes, you know, we'll just see what happens. She said,

[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_04]: but I definitely want to play with you still. And I'll make okay. So then not liberated me to go

[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_04]: and not feel like, you know, oh man, if I win, and I'm going to be under all this pressure. So she

[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_04]: liberated me to make that decision. So but then just getting confirmation, you know, leading up to

[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_04]: the tournament that I need to, that I need to be close to home, you know? And the things that are

[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_04]: most important to me. So it was important, but it's not the most important thing to me. So,

[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_04]: you know, so then I begin to pray like, God, if there would be any way that I could win a

[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_04]: world title out my last tournament. Okay. And so in 1996, Dustin will hit the scene. We won

[00:35:17] [SPEAKER_04]: women-working doubles. You know, we did that a couple of years and then, you know, so I,

[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_04]: so my prayer was just God if I could win one world title and just go out as a world champion

[00:35:28] [SPEAKER_04]: that would just be over the top. And I knew I could play 50 and over. So I had that little bit

[00:35:32] [SPEAKER_04]: of, you know, I may not win women's open doubles or women's open singles, but I got a shot

[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_04]: at the day. You know, so I'm going into the tournament, why end up winning women's open 50 and

[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_04]: over singles? But then to turn around and win women's classic 15 over doubles with Dusty.

[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_04]: I was like, to me, I was like, God, that is full circle because Dusty and I won in 96

[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_04]: is rookies. And now you've given me another title with her and I hugged her neck and I said,

[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_04]: that way the last time we play, you know? And she's like, what? I said, yeah, I said this is

[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_04]: no, that's tournament. Sorry if I get emotional. I was like, you know, it was full circle and I was

[00:36:13] [SPEAKER_04]: like, there was so sweet for God to give that to us after all these years. You know, so for me,

[00:36:18] [SPEAKER_04]: this, this tournament was very personal, you know, personal. And so they won Jessica and I

[00:36:25] [SPEAKER_04]: were playing. And I had told a few people throughout the weekend that it was my last tournament,

[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_04]: but I was like, please do not tell Jessica, not that Jessica is that kind of reactive person

[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_04]: but I didn't want anything to hinder our ability to win this tournament. And I didn't want one.

[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Now you need to think to enter her mind, I didn't want her to have to think about this or Spain or

[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_04]: whatever. So I was like, you know, please don't share. But so there were a few people that knew

[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_04]: I was, this was my last tournament. So when we, um, we got to the finals and, um, and we were down,

[00:36:55] [SPEAKER_04]: you know, those two games and got smoked. You know, at that point I look up to the heavens and

[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_04]: my God, you know, help me because I was not participating. And that's when I just felt all you have.

[00:37:07] [SPEAKER_04]: And that's when the dynamics of the match shifted, we have somehow won that game and then the next

[00:37:13] [SPEAKER_04]: game. And I was like, here we are going into the fifth game and I, my birthday was taking

[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_04]: away. I was like, oh, God, we were, we were just about to start winning. There's no, like,

[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_04]: my senior, my ability level was still not where it needed to be. And, um, but Jessica was,

[00:37:28] [SPEAKER_04]: and that's why I said, you know, us winning was the god of the universe and just because deep

[00:37:33] [SPEAKER_04]: it's, uh, and my ability to not give up. But when we were there, so then somehow now we're up

[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_04]: three to two and there are four to two in the last game and or four to three in the last game. So we knew

[00:37:45] [SPEAKER_04]: that we had to get this pointer, it was championship format. You know, it was over time over time. And that

[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_04]: was not going to work. We, I did not want to go to overtime with the other. They are too good. They

[00:37:56] [SPEAKER_04]: would have figured it out, you know. So I looked up at the heavens and I said, God, if you give

[00:38:02] [SPEAKER_04]: me this block is, is about had it in the back, she's getting raised, shoot it out of the back. And I said,

[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_04]: if you give me this block, God, I will never ask you for another thing in football ever again.

[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_04]: The ball down can play. She hit it. It banked off the wall, my five and back in her goal. And

[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_04]: hey, I knew at that moment that the god of the universe had answered the prepared and I could not

[00:38:25] [SPEAKER_04]: stop sobbing. Like I did matter the trophy, it didn't matter the money, it didn't matter the title.

[00:38:31] [SPEAKER_04]: It was that we have a god that we can cry out to and he will answer our prayer. And I'm sorry for

[00:38:37] [SPEAKER_04]: those of you that are not believers. This is my story. And then, and then to even follow that up with

[00:38:44] [SPEAKER_04]: you know, sweet Sullivan sent me a text a few days later. I hope I'm not taking up too much time.

[00:38:48] [SPEAKER_04]: So that sent me a text a few days later and said, you know, how, you know, she had a rough,

[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_04]: you know, a couple weeks. And that she, um, she was not, you know, obviously she was devastated

[00:38:59] [SPEAKER_04]: that her and Hannah didn't win because nobody wants it more than those girls for sure. Sure.

[00:39:04] [SPEAKER_04]: And, um, and, but she said, but when I watched how it unfolded, she goes, I was talking to

[00:39:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Isabelle. She goes, and when I watched how the finals unfolded, she said, I knew that it was meant

[00:39:15] [SPEAKER_04]: for you in Jessica to win. She goes, it didn't matter who you guys were playing and that final

[00:39:20] [SPEAKER_04]: match that you had got on your side and that you won because of that. And because we know anybody

[00:39:27] [SPEAKER_04]: and anybody that match knows those girls were outplaying us all the way around. And there's no

[00:39:34] [SPEAKER_04]: reason why they didn't just plow us and knock us out very quickly. But I know why. And like I said,

[00:39:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Jessica and the guy at the universe, anyway, but it just made sense. And to me, you know, that's kind

[00:39:48] [SPEAKER_04]: of my message here tonight is that, you know, I'm so glad that that Sullivan was able to see that,

[00:39:54] [SPEAKER_04]: you know, it wasn't anything that she didn't was just our time. You know, it was it was our time

[00:39:58] [SPEAKER_04]: who had been in sync with Isabelle. I hugged her neck. I said, baby, you got your whole career

[00:40:02] [SPEAKER_04]: ahead of you. And I'm going to be watching you guys from, you know, for behind the scenes and she's

[00:40:07] [SPEAKER_04]: many years to when humans world doubles titles, but this was our time for sure. Well deserved.

[00:40:15] [SPEAKER_04]: To say, I have Jessica's neck and I told her I said, I'm so sorry, you know, this was my

[00:40:21] [SPEAKER_04]: long term and she had me and she went here in it first. I tried to get her to buy my table. She's like,

[00:40:27] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm not buying your table because I feel complete peace in my spirit that I made the right decision.

[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_04]: And I wish, honestly, I wish that, you know, I wish I could say that even if I had a sponsor and they

[00:40:43] [SPEAKER_04]: pay for me and my family to go to Spain. And we can have a wonderful, you know, trip over there and experience,

[00:40:49] [SPEAKER_04]: you know, what would happen? What I would have to do to go into that world cup. I can't, I can't even

[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_04]: must drop training on those other tables. I've never even touched the lift. You know what I mean? So

[00:40:59] [SPEAKER_04]: you all have to try it. It's just I cannot fit it into my life. And so even if I had the

[00:41:05] [SPEAKER_04]: sponsor that paid for my whole family to go, I just still don't know that I would go. Because I told God,

[00:41:11] [SPEAKER_04]: if you give me this, I'll never ask you again and it's, and it's, I take that, that's a vow,

[00:41:17] [SPEAKER_04]: you know, that's a covenant between me and God that I made. And I just, I'm not saying he won't give it

[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_04]: back some day but for right now, I don't want to touch, I'm happy with that being the last time

[00:41:29] [SPEAKER_04]: I ever touched the table. So I don't know if it only be, it would only be going down for me from there,

[00:41:35] [SPEAKER_05]: no, and don't take away from the fact that we, we said, and we said, I'll do something and we

[00:41:41] [SPEAKER_05]: did it for nobody to take that away. Determination. It's a lot of confidant about setting the tree

[00:41:46] [SPEAKER_05]: and not getting that kind of, and we worked really hard towards that. And that was that that I

[00:41:53] [SPEAKER_04]: needed from Jessica during the match because I'm living on a, you know, faith and prayer in the

[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_04]: match, and she's got this drive and determination and it was just, it was magical. So thank you.

[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_05]: Thank you so much for your suggestion. I'm like commentary of fruits and I appreciate those guys

[00:42:08] [SPEAKER_05]: staying up late to commentate and do the staff and everything for that match because I think it was

[00:42:13] [SPEAKER_05]: like after midnight or something, it was late when we played. I'm not even sure they exact time.

[00:42:19] [SPEAKER_07]: But yeah, it's highly necessary that you and what you ladies do on that side of the,

[00:42:33] [SPEAKER_07]: listening tonight, and he sent a message great playing ladies Jessica kept Maggie in it long enough

[00:42:39] [SPEAKER_07]: to figure out what you needed to excellent teamwork. So Adam was, he's on your side and he of course

[00:42:45] [SPEAKER_07]: he was there for you that night. I'm sure he would do that as, as many times as he need to, of course,

[00:42:51] [SPEAKER_07]: I know Adam. But yeah, so you guys deserve the coverage, you deserve to be in the limelight. This is

[00:42:58] [SPEAKER_05]: all about your work card. Yes, we definitely put in the time. I feel bad for telling you they're

[00:43:05] [SPEAKER_07]: getting crying and saying, oh, they're definitely is. I gotta tell you that whole world

[00:43:11] [SPEAKER_00]: championships for me was incredible because I couldn't go because my wife, in very 20 almost 20 years

[00:43:20] [SPEAKER_00]: she lets me do what I want, you know, Maggie knows that I'm at all these tournaments. You

[00:43:23] [SPEAKER_00]: don't even play, I'll just go show up. It's like, I want to do this and it was the weekend

[00:43:29] [SPEAKER_00]: of the World Championships. So I'm like, okay, they didn't even have a paid a course, you know.

[00:43:34] [SPEAKER_00]: But watching from home, it's watching all the new faces winning. You know, I mean,

[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Hannah, you guys, and, you know, of course my man from California, but you know,

[00:43:46] [SPEAKER_00]: oh, for me that what I, I saw like Trevor, you guys, everybody was,

[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, you guys were struggling. You could tell there was a certain,

[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_00]: you guys seem to have a plan. Everybody who wants even Hannah, I'm waiting for Hannah to start

[00:44:00] [SPEAKER_00]: shooting on the back of singles but no, she just kept getting them all down.

[00:44:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Just pushing it down the table. That's all man. That is incredible that like everybody did

[00:44:08] [SPEAKER_00]: exactly what they had to do in that moment. Because I've won some big titles and it ain't easy,

[00:44:16] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, and I tell me, if we go, how do you win a big title? It's weird.

[00:44:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Except to just kind of clicks in your head. Yeah. You get into the moment.

[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Not that it's easy but you see how that, it's really like that easy, that little mistake or

[00:44:31] [SPEAKER_00]: whatever, but anyway, to just watch everybody not see the stable names and I'm

[00:44:37] [SPEAKER_00]: honing and all these guys. I love those guys but guess what? World these to see different names

[00:44:42] [SPEAKER_00]: of the top and that whole world championship was about that. I just loved that was incredible.

[00:44:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Agreed. Yeah, I think for a lot of these players, it's sometimes things just have to

[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_01]: fall into place and this world championship was definitely, I mean like for Trevor Trevor Beat,

[00:45:03] [SPEAKER_01]: there would be Tony, Beat Tommy, Beat Ryan, he'd probably the three strongest singles players

[00:45:07] [SPEAKER_01]: with the exception of Brandon Moonios. In the world right now, you know and for you ladies,

[00:45:16] [SPEAKER_01]: everything just worked out as far as Maggie retiring. I mean, obviously priorities, family,

[00:45:21] [SPEAKER_01]: all that stuff but it's just a loss for us as a whole. You know, for the football community,

[00:45:26] [SPEAKER_01]: it's unfortunate but, you know, I just, it's really going to hit me the next time I go to

[00:45:36] [SPEAKER_01]: a local and you're just not there. So it kind of bombs me out but, um, because I just I always enjoy

[00:45:41] [SPEAKER_01]: playing against you and seeing your tournaments and hanging out and you're just the fierce competitor.

[00:45:46] [SPEAKER_01]: So, but I was more than ecstatic to, you know, to hear and see you guys win. So it was definitely

[00:45:54] [SPEAKER_01]: very well deserved. Yeah, I mean what are you going to do? You know, you said, you said you think

[00:46:01] [SPEAKER_01]: the world is entering some crazy times. I, I think you're wrong. I think we're already there. So,

[00:46:07] [SPEAKER_01]: you know, I could understand not wanting to go to Spain next year. My wife wants,

[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_01]: my wife wants to take a trip to Europe and I told her, I said, you can go whenever you want.

[00:46:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll buy some extra life insurance for you. I mean, how it goes? I said, I said,

[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I said, you'll do fine. A pretty blonde hair blue eyed, you know, lady with a Southern accent

[00:46:29] [SPEAKER_01]: in the middle of Europe. I said, nobody above you, you'll have a great time. So, uh,

[00:46:36] [SPEAKER_01]: what are you going to do? Making vacation out. I'm not going, dude. I'm not going.

[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no. I don't, well, listen, I say that maybe for like a lean heart tournament, I would go.

[00:46:48] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay, whatever. Okay. Yeah. Well, it's the world cup obviously.

[00:46:53] [SPEAKER_00]: The bag is taking from a guy's retired 300 times. I kind of least come back,

[00:46:59] [SPEAKER_00]: because you know what? When I started coming back and I know trust me,

[00:47:03] [SPEAKER_00]: but he was saying earlier like, let's say, what does it just come for? I can't play for fun.

[00:47:07] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not in me. I'm a competitor. I don't want people to just beat me up, you know?

[00:47:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I gotta tell you, you said earlier before the show started, you know, like, oh,

[00:47:18] [SPEAKER_00]: we were this or whatever. I think like for Trevor,

[00:47:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I always told Trevor had one of them. That's five rods I've ever seen. And like,

[00:47:26] [SPEAKER_00]: nobody different passes. He has so many passes that I think you can confuse himself.

[00:47:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes I think age helps you say, you know, all that and put it together at the right time.

[00:47:37] [SPEAKER_00]: You're like, oh, why am I doing all this stuff when this is killing the guy every time, you know?

[00:47:43] [SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, like your deep sense, just get you,

[00:47:46] [SPEAKER_00]: or play on the fly, change up your D, get some incredible blocks. It's just you go back on your experience,

[00:47:53] [SPEAKER_00]: not so much just your young ability, like as a young, you could do things like,

[00:47:58] [SPEAKER_00]: you don't even think about it, you know? But then when you get older, you have all that wisdom.

[00:48:02] [SPEAKER_00]: And I just think that makes a huge difference in the game. You can pull back on all that.

[00:48:07] [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of, and one of the things I'll say, and this may not everything to do with it,

[00:48:11] [SPEAKER_00]: but I'm not going to get into myself too much, but I play with a young age or is a morrow when you're still

[00:48:15] [SPEAKER_00]: a pro. You're after I won the World Championship for the Horton and you're playing gumma

[00:48:22] [SPEAKER_00]: us about two games, oh, two oh, just like you guys, and I looked at him, I said, we got a right

[00:48:26] [SPEAKER_00]: where we want them. What are you talking about? It's the, oh, did they're killing us?

[00:48:32] [SPEAKER_00]: I said, yeah, but they've never won a World title in doubles. And he forgot to he had either,

[00:48:37] [SPEAKER_00]: but I said, they've never won a World title. They wanted so bad if we could just keep picking

[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_00]: at him with these points, he keeps corn points. And we want to win the match play for the winter

[00:48:47] [SPEAKER_00]: track that the World Championships and it was, we lost it was the most fun term that I've

[00:48:51] [SPEAKER_00]: played in play was something like Adrian. Anyway, I've just said, I think like experience is

[00:48:57] [SPEAKER_00]: a big thing and I hate to see Maggie go because she's, I stood up to let me with her.

    [00:49:02] [SPEAKER_06]: I think it's something consensus.

[00:49:07] [SPEAKER_00]: It was my buddy. Anyway, I mean, you know what I like I said, you know, you got to do a

[00:49:16] [SPEAKER_00]: you got to do. I get it. I mean, I want a big tournament I quit. I was sick. I was done. It was just

[00:49:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I knew it was time. You know, and if I would show up and play a few terms of fun, but I do was

[00:49:27] [SPEAKER_00]: done. And I understand all that. I told you 100% agree with what you're saying about what's

[00:49:32] [SPEAKER_00]: going on in the World right now. I'm going to agree more that you got to do what's best for Maggie

[00:49:38] [SPEAKER_00]: and your family and we're selfish and we just don't want you to go.

[00:49:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, I appreciate that. And it's, it is not stepping out. You know, I feel, I feel like we

[00:49:46] [SPEAKER_04]: talked about physically so better. I feel like I'm playing better football than I've ever played in my life.

[00:49:51] [SPEAKER_04]: And I found, you know, somebody that, you know, I have that chemistry with now. So to go against

[00:49:57] [SPEAKER_04]: all of those because you feel, you know, that that you need to do to go a different direction.

[00:50:03] [SPEAKER_04]: It's it's hard, but I have to know that if I honor that, that that's going to bring blessings in

[00:50:07] [SPEAKER_04]: my life that, you know, far will out pass any world time I don't like it when. But and again,

[00:50:12] [SPEAKER_04]: like I said, eight world titles. Okay, that's enough for me. You know, I don't need to

[00:50:18] [SPEAKER_00]: dominate, you know, some. We, enough for you. Yeah. At Bruce Ball is fishing, we're just like your

[00:50:25] [SPEAKER_00]: story tonight. You can say that I'm adding this. Your story tonight about your faith in God,

[00:50:30] [SPEAKER_00]: your strong beliefs and you feel like you did what you did. And I agree 100% of the Christian

[00:50:35] [SPEAKER_00]: God was behind every bit of it because everything's ordained by him. And, you know, I mean,

[00:50:40] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not trying to make it feel bad. I'm trying to make sure just get gets a partner for later on.

[00:50:44] [SPEAKER_05]: But anyway, no, I'm not still going to play. I'll be playing next year. Why? I'm not going

[00:50:50] [SPEAKER_05]: to have a list of where to play with her. Are you crazy? She's not no problem. I'm not going to

[00:50:55] [SPEAKER_00]: have a joke with her. I've just give it a hard time. I know, I mean, you got, I get it. You

[00:51:02] [SPEAKER_00]: got to do what you're called to do. I mean, and that's it. And family comes first before anything.

[00:51:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry, I'm like, but I love or I think she's incredible. And I just like to see her as the

[00:51:12] [SPEAKER_04]: government. So well, and I love you guys. I love the Fuzball community and I'm so thankful to get to

[00:51:18] [SPEAKER_04]: you guys on here and share my story. And so that people understand why and just to be able to say,

[00:51:23] [SPEAKER_04]: I love you guys. And I'll be praying for you guys and rooting from behind the scenes. And

[00:51:28] [SPEAKER_04]: I might only prayer is that this new, you know, Fuzball whoever does the recording now will do

[00:51:35] [SPEAKER_04]: multiple tables. I know that. To be able to talk to table one, two, and three because I'm

[00:51:40] [SPEAKER_04]: watching the brackets and my boys are over here. And I want to watch and I can't because they're

[00:51:47] [SPEAKER_04]: less that they think that so I can watch everybody. But I will be watching and, and obviously if anyone

[00:51:53] [SPEAKER_04]: ever needs anything, please feel free to reach out and and also be here just not there. So

[00:51:59] [SPEAKER_05]: like I said, you can still come into tournaments. You don't have to play. But you can still come

[00:52:03] [SPEAKER_00]: see your people. Yeah. You know, come and hang out. So, so it's a good for a John Cunningham at the B

[00:52:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Hill. So, a whole little level. To another story into itself. I don't even know.

[00:52:19] [SPEAKER_04]: The world. I don't even know where he was. I haven't talked to him. I don't even know.

[00:52:26] [SPEAKER_07]: So what? Just because you haven't been on the show before, I think it's it booms is to know

[00:52:32] [SPEAKER_07]: what what got you into Fuzball to begin with? When was the first time you saw a Fuzball

[00:52:37] [SPEAKER_05]: table and how old were you and what kind of table was it? I was a kid and my dad and his

[00:52:44] [SPEAKER_05]: me to the game. And my dad was like a little player and actually like that was my first time

[00:52:52] [SPEAKER_05]: ever seen or playing the game. But then I was in my school there was a pool all actually

[00:52:58] [SPEAKER_05]: got a little gamer in tech place. And so I used to play ball curtains and I would get bored and then

[00:53:06] [SPEAKER_07]: I was like, okay. And what was the first time you had a chest to compete at an actual tournament?

[00:53:13] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. And so he would be with me as an adult. I'm a type of person where I like something

[00:53:19] [SPEAKER_05]: enough and you beat me at it. It's going to motivate me to get better at it and I want to send

[00:53:23] [SPEAKER_05]: a little when. And then I just kept meeting people and playing like the barley. So I don't

[00:53:34] [SPEAKER_05]: around and then getting you know, meeting the St. Louis people and then I found out they had

[00:53:41] [SPEAKER_05]: large tournaments and I think like natural used to be in St. Louis and they look every couple of

[00:53:45] [SPEAKER_05]: years. But my very first ever jackets. I won women's read doubles back in cherry 1990s and

[00:53:53] [SPEAKER_05]: my national's. That's actually living in Jacksonville, Florida. Wow. And flew up to play and that was

[00:54:00] [SPEAKER_04]: my first title. And by that time you rejected it. And all of our years mine in Jessica's we always

[00:54:09] [SPEAKER_04]: we didn't meet until on the table until within the last two years, right? Just like I wouldn't

[00:54:16] [SPEAKER_05]: meet. Yeah. I mean, it was after COVID. Yeah. Like I played on and off like I want to actually

[00:54:26] [SPEAKER_05]: live in worlds. Women's repeat levels with Amy Flutter, she's Amy Maddox now and then Amy and Becky

[00:54:31] [SPEAKER_05]: would want to win women's open doubles at Worlds in 2021 or 2001. Oh my god. And so yeah, I still have

[00:54:41] [SPEAKER_05]: my I still have my in 1899 jacket. I still have my in 2000 jacket. And then I kind of would take a break

[00:54:49] [SPEAKER_05]: like I was in school for a while or like just depending on what was going on my life like I've

[00:54:54] [SPEAKER_05]: always been in and out of the game. But it's nice to always be able to come back to it. I played a lot

[00:55:00] [SPEAKER_05]: in 2011 and 2012. I was Jessica stuck back then that was my my very name. And I actually want

[00:55:06] [SPEAKER_05]: a year of free packages from Mary. And so that really helped elevate my game to like one of them,

[00:55:13] [SPEAKER_05]: but you want the packages but to actually like utilize them and improve on my game. And I got to go

[00:55:19] [SPEAKER_05]: to Frank and since 2012. I got a bronze medal in singles there and just kind of played for

[00:55:26] [SPEAKER_05]: a while then and then fell out again. I started a gun to relationship with someone that didn't

[00:55:30] [SPEAKER_05]: play throughs ball and then came back in 2017 and won, which was really unexpected but a nice surprise

[00:55:40] [SPEAKER_07]: for sure. Cool. And then that got me back at it. And now you're back to stay and where are you going

[00:55:46] [SPEAKER_05]: to be in the next five years of your career in football? I do an international thing is definitely

[00:55:54] [SPEAKER_05]: top of my list. My football flock is ticking so I'm going to take advantage of my health while I can.

[00:56:03] [SPEAKER_05]: I actually leading up to worlds, I was going to physical therapy for my arm thinking that maybe

[00:56:07] [SPEAKER_05]: I had to knit a night and my left arm but it turned out luckily it was only a pinch of your

[00:56:11] [SPEAKER_05]: my neck so they all look kind of through that like right before I told Maggie I was like,

[00:56:16] [SPEAKER_05]: don't panic but I'm I have to go and make more and you know I'm dealing with it but

[00:56:22] [SPEAKER_05]: and luckily started you know doing the exercise that needed to in my arm was fine. Thank goodness

[00:56:30] [SPEAKER_05]: but yeah I'm going to keep playing and keep competing as long as my body's going to let me.

[00:56:35] [SPEAKER_07]: Cool. Excellent. Well it's never too late and it's never over completely

[00:56:40] [SPEAKER_07]: Maggie. Just saying. I'm actually who just are you coming to board?

[00:56:50] [SPEAKER_05]: No actually I will be at North Carolina State. Cool.

[00:56:57] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah there's lots of things that you would like to do in my entire time and then the calls

[00:57:00] [SPEAKER_01]: are all so wonderful. What's an actually I look at like?

[00:57:06] [SPEAKER_05]: TKO for sure and then I'm kind of waiting for the schedule to come out because I feel like

[00:57:10] [SPEAKER_05]: there's a lot of saturation and so I really want to see like I wanted to do the coaster

    [00:57:17] [SPEAKER_05]: re-determined. I've heard that's an amazing experience. Oh yeah.

[00:57:22] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah it's like I went to Vegas this past year. I had been there since 2012 so kind of going to

[00:57:28] [SPEAKER_05]: some things I hadn't been to in a while this year. I'd like to go to some new things like

[00:57:33] [SPEAKER_05]: Michigan State something that I passed on and I'm one of the chiefs game running at football

[00:57:37] [SPEAKER_05]: 27 but I wasn't going to that I would never be in state tournament.

    [00:57:46] [SPEAKER_05]: I'm talking I'm sorry. Football over football.

[00:57:51] [SPEAKER_01]: All right that's good. At least Maggie has got her priority straight.

[00:57:59] [SPEAKER_01]: So Maggie I heard you say expecting a grand baby yeah?

[00:58:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm praying. Oh oh oh okay. They're typical mother and loss so you sound like my mother and

[00:58:13] [SPEAKER_01]: law. Okay. The married 10 years when we don't have a baby I say you can go get one anytime you want.

[00:58:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Very good friends that's her daughter who's done the daughter. I will have a baby in my hand

[00:58:28] [SPEAKER_04]: soon just want to be my but that's the next thing maybe. That's cool.

[00:58:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe. Maybe. Yeah when it poops and cries you just give it back. There you go. There you go.

[00:58:38] [SPEAKER_07]: That's right. No it's uh yeah. It'd be nice to have a grand baby to raise on the football table,

[00:58:46] [SPEAKER_03]: right? Just a pretty good time. Little Sullivan was a baby when I met her so. Yep. This is the thing.

[00:58:55] [SPEAKER_07]: By the way guys I don't know if you realized but there is there's a lot of royal

[00:59:00] [SPEAKER_07]: fuzball families out there and during the 2024 tornado championships another royal fuzball family

[00:59:07] [SPEAKER_07]: took to the table. Um and I think Randy knows who they are. The name is Palowski

[00:59:13] [SPEAKER_07]: and they walked away with seven seven wins between the two kids and the parents.

[00:59:22] [SPEAKER_07]: That's pretty astounding. I think it was quite there quite a weekend for the families at the

[00:59:27] [SPEAKER_01]: 2024 tornado championships. Yeah well the youngest one, Sherwin. He a he won.

[00:59:34] [SPEAKER_01]: You want a couple junior events or age junior events rookie. rookie doubles and singles.

[00:59:39] [SPEAKER_01]: He won the two handicap events. Yep. Hanycap singles doubles rookie doubles and singles

[00:59:44] [SPEAKER_01]: the older one Lewis who I always threatened to throw punch when I see him. He won. He won.

[00:59:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm mixed event. I think and then I think stand one forward. Yeah so the younger one won like five

[01:00:00] [SPEAKER_01]: and then the other two won one each. So we know who the best player in that house is. Right. Exactly.

[01:00:06] [SPEAKER_07]: But it's it's great to see the younger generation you know making a make a name for themselves

[01:00:11] [SPEAKER_07]: like this and and there's so many other family names as in Ru and Stella and Dejan and Balcoes.

[01:00:19] [SPEAKER_07]: I mean there's just so it's such a such a great thing now to see this happen within the

[01:00:24] [SPEAKER_07]: Fuzball boom. So guys they just wanted to ask you a question we just had a conversation recently

[01:00:32] [SPEAKER_07]: with Ryan Moore who's now going to be running something called the World of Fuzball Tour and he's

[01:00:38] [SPEAKER_07]: looking at you know reorganizing and kind of rebranding but some some changes that may be coming very soon.

[01:00:45] [SPEAKER_07]: So I know Maggie you're not invested but I was one bring what do you think would be the best

[01:00:51] [SPEAKER_07]: change he could make in the first year or so. Oh my lord what a lot of good.

[01:00:58] [SPEAKER_04]: How about it. Yeah. I mean to say women Fuzball you got to get more money into the women's events

[01:01:06] [SPEAKER_04]: for me if I could have if I could have cleared my expenses I don't I probably would have stuck with

[01:01:14] [SPEAKER_04]: it throughout but I'd placed I'd have to win I'd have to triple every time to to me and I

[01:01:19] [SPEAKER_04]: know I know the field is not fantastic in the women's but I also know that it's plenty for in

[01:01:28] [SPEAKER_04]: the other areas of the tournament for them to throw $1,000 or $2,000 and get those women's events

[01:01:34] [SPEAKER_04]: pumped up to where these women will come back out and play not me but they come back out and play

[01:01:39] [SPEAKER_04]: and give something for their effort like we talked the last time on the show for a woman to play this

[01:01:45] [SPEAKER_04]: game is a lot we have a heavy load in our lives with running families and raising babies and all

[01:01:51] [SPEAKER_04]: of this make it worth their while Ryan come on Baba. Yeah I think there was some success with that

[01:01:58] [SPEAKER_05]: with Oklahoma State with Tony Owens the end they put money towards the women's events and there was

[01:02:04] [SPEAKER_05]: a lot of them turned out yeah yeah the women players for sure I mean like Hannah was holding up $500

    [01:02:08] [SPEAKER_04]: and had Trevor's check with 7,000 I'm just like right that's I mean that it's bananas

[01:02:16] [SPEAKER_04]: that's inequitable I was a bad thing when I when I have to share with people and try to say

[01:02:21] [SPEAKER_04]: something positive about this sport but yet I have to tell oh do you make money well you know

[01:02:26] [SPEAKER_04]: and I've to tell them what my pales are that isn't embarrassment to this sport so I if that is

[01:02:31] [SPEAKER_04]: what I would love to see happen is just they they get the women's events I know it's never

[01:02:36] [SPEAKER_04]: going to be with the men's are but my goodness a couple of thousand dollars more would make all

[01:02:40] [SPEAKER_07]: the difference wouldn't it for us it's for me yeah I mean you think about women's soccer and what

[01:02:45] [SPEAKER_07]: they did and how they went through the whole process of trying to get you know pay equity

[01:02:49] [SPEAKER_07]: between pro-women and pro men's soccer and they struggled for years but they've finally found

[01:02:55] [SPEAKER_07]: some parity so it is possible there's no question about that you know and I hope that I hope

[01:03:01] [SPEAKER_04]: I hope that the football scene can get cleaned up enough to get into the Olympics someday

[01:03:07] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know who that person needs to be to get it there but I also know that the commentate

[01:03:12] [SPEAKER_04]: you know I love the guys on on camera but I can't even show when you body at my church

[01:03:18] [SPEAKER_04]: a match because I can't promise that the commentators are not going to drop a new thumb on I mean

[01:03:23] [SPEAKER_04]: that is again embarrassing for this sport and I'm not saying anybody I love all those guys

[01:03:29] [SPEAKER_04]: but you know what I'm saying I can't show a little six year old who wants to watch my finals match

[01:03:32] [SPEAKER_04]: because I don't know if they're going to say about word and now it's not I don't remember

[01:03:36] [SPEAKER_04]: it would call too much of any other sport is all I'm saying but I just want to tell you

[01:03:41] [SPEAKER_07]: please not up a little bit and you know yeah I don't know well needless to say you know if you

[01:03:48] [SPEAKER_07]: turn on the PGA the pro-girlfriend's association and the women's golfers association

[01:03:52] [SPEAKER_07]: you're not going to hear anything like that generally just say in

[01:03:58] [SPEAKER_04]: food's both the same a play team he's one of my I could listen to him you know

[01:04:03] [SPEAKER_04]: but how do you talk show but when it's the match I think it's just it's just a different

[01:04:07] [SPEAKER_00]: need to look at different but different so right so just what to see if the women's events

[01:04:13] [SPEAKER_00]: even if they don't pay out more money have up packaged deals me yeah you want to be because the

[01:04:18] [SPEAKER_00]: money but if you're going to go to a tournament

[01:04:21] [SPEAKER_00]: packages are they're all going to leave this

[01:04:24] [SPEAKER_05]: have no because you don't get up packages I'm I don't play for money I play because I love

[01:04:31] [SPEAKER_05]: the game if I played for money I would have stopped playing one to kind of go

[01:04:34] [SPEAKER_05]: I mean yeah it's nice you have your expenses reimburse but I'm I'm not trying to to make money

[01:04:40] [SPEAKER_05]: I love this I for me I'd like to see less rankings like I don't understand what the difference

[01:04:47] [SPEAKER_05]: between a rookie and a nature is and maybe limiting the number of events

[01:04:54] [SPEAKER_05]: and limiting the number of events that people can play I feel like Texas State has had success

[01:04:59] [SPEAKER_05]: with that who I think could play like five events and it's going to cost you this in which we

[01:05:04] [SPEAKER_05]: and do it that way but you know I don't run this stuff I get it you know people

[01:05:10] [SPEAKER_05]: no better than I do whatever but I feel like that's where you run into a lot of like how

[01:05:14] [SPEAKER_07]: it's in the tournament themselves well I think that that we had an example this year with the

[01:05:22] [SPEAKER_07]: ITS have coming across the pond and of course doing their thing in Texas during Memorial Day

[01:05:27] [SPEAKER_07]: weekend with with the ITS of World Series there you could only play one of them a day

[01:05:35] [SPEAKER_05]: yeah everything is great yeah it was really good

[01:05:40] [SPEAKER_07]: yeah it was nice and it was a lot of football you know you played a lot around so there was no lack

[01:05:46] [SPEAKER_07]: of competition either it was the best fear especially getting into the finals that was some some great

[01:05:52] [SPEAKER_07]: football so so there's some things that are working things that that people tend to say or players say

    [01:05:58] [SPEAKER_07]: hey here's a great idea let's let's give this a shot I think we're I think 2025 actually

[01:06:05] [SPEAKER_07]: just did an opinion here that I think 2025 is going to be Europe change inevitably

[01:06:12] [SPEAKER_05]: yeah it's been exciting to see what what's going to happen for sure yeah absolutely

[01:06:17] [SPEAKER_07]: well I got to say guys you know it's it's it's terrific to have you on for the for the duration

[01:06:23] [SPEAKER_07]: of the show tonight this has been a lot of fun before we go Randy what what would you like to

[01:06:30] [SPEAKER_07]: ask these ladies before we let them get back to their life well

[01:06:36] [SPEAKER_01]: not so much a question just just I just want to say thank you thank you for coming on I

[01:06:41] [SPEAKER_01]: appreciate your time you know I always enjoy watching the two of you play I don't ever like playing

[01:06:48] [SPEAKER_01]: against you but congratulations Maggie you know you got my number if you ever need anything

[01:06:55] [SPEAKER_01]: there's I'm a phone call away and Jessica I'll be seeing you so thank you for

[01:07:02] [SPEAKER_07]: appreciate you both thank you and Mike what would you like to ask before we go I really

[01:07:11] [SPEAKER_00]: anything to ask I just would like to make a comment that I I'm over as Moses so you know I've seen it all

[01:07:18] [SPEAKER_00]: there was a time where it was not fun to watch women's matches I'm just being honest

[01:07:23] [SPEAKER_00]: but it's not that time anymore I mean honestly I I go in you know and I'm watching these matches

[01:07:31] [SPEAKER_00]: and I'm a big UFC fighter guy right so like a lot of the women kept it with first started and it was just like

[01:07:40] [SPEAKER_00]: oh good lord you know skin now it's the whole sport has changed and it's just like boozeball

[01:07:47] [SPEAKER_00]: you know I see some of my most exciting matches in the women's events is there may

[01:07:54] [SPEAKER_00]: high level you're useful very high level and you know everybody thinks all of there was

[01:08:00] [SPEAKER_00]: five hundred teams back whenever who gives a crown 20 great teams and 500 teams of

[01:08:08] [SPEAKER_00]: within the decent people playing you know I mean going about what you're watching it's what

[01:08:13] [SPEAKER_00]: you're putting the product to put it out so I that's my thing I just love though either you

[01:08:19] [SPEAKER_00]: guys are awesome the win the world's to be is a huge accomplishment I might not have thought that

[01:08:25] [SPEAKER_00]: a few years ago but when I'm seeing girls you ladies excuse me I'm old okay I'm a mill show

[01:08:31] [SPEAKER_00]: it's big whatever but once you guys you guys are just killing it five your deep hits is your shots

[01:08:37] [SPEAKER_00]: you know your five bars the whole time you're gonna give respect respect this new you know

[01:08:43] [SPEAKER_00]: you've earned it and I had to say Clay too we said if you could find one F bomb on a

[01:08:50] [SPEAKER_00]: mat that they did and he will pay your weight of Europe so I'd be digging people all around

[01:08:56] [SPEAKER_04]: the face like it's fine he just say space though he said Europe right well maybe it was in between

[01:09:07] [SPEAKER_04]: matches you know maybe it wasn't live I that could be my bad sorry Clay anyway that's

[01:09:13] [SPEAKER_00]: all I had is I just might know what it's of it to me is the make tater now like top your

[01:09:18] [SPEAKER_00]: place to be because me it I play with top of the orange is a rookie that was a master now he's a

[01:09:24] [SPEAKER_00]: master and I'm just showing up having two drinks I'm not gonna lie so anyway we have a last

[01:09:30] [SPEAKER_00]: play together but I'm a fan of the game always happened you know I've seen the games

[01:09:34] [SPEAKER_00]: of 70s I just love words that I mean I see rookies with five rods and ever fastable well

[01:09:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I bought Jessica's side here what the hell is this amateur rookie crap nonsense I played a

[01:09:47] [SPEAKER_00]: term there was one two events in Donovan always yells every percent is there was novice at open

[01:09:53] [SPEAKER_00]: toys you know can't do that it's not there's no way you can stay in the tournament but

[01:09:59] [SPEAKER_00]: you know you have to take 70s events out it was it's a lot it's a lot I mean come on man 7000

[01:10:08] [SPEAKER_00]: years and older doubles I mean it's like when do we stop right but I was played it was like 35

[01:10:14] [SPEAKER_00]: and older like we were like man we're never gonna make it up 35 right and that was like 77

[01:10:19] [SPEAKER_00]: and older so it's like you know I'm sorry that's my bitch for today on thank you Mike

[01:10:26] [SPEAKER_07]: so just a quick Maggie you're the best thank you so much for what you've done for this sport

[01:10:34] [SPEAKER_07]: and and I do hope that eventually that they find your way back in

[01:10:39] [SPEAKER_07]: me too I hope you do yeah well see yeah and Jessica you gotta start working on it now

[01:10:46] [SPEAKER_07]: because you know world cups coming up there you go but you both are fantastic and can't

[01:10:57] [SPEAKER_07]: wait to see Jessica you on the table sometimes soon and this and Maggie you know I know

[01:11:02] [SPEAKER_07]: you're gonna be there in spirit so thank you so much so oh you made it made this a terrific

[01:11:10] [SPEAKER_07]: episode and we're looking forward to hearing this as a podcast as well but thanks everybody for

[01:11:15] [SPEAKER_07]: tuning in on twitch TV tonight we had some great listeners and yeah we're sure thing

[01:11:21] [SPEAKER_00]: you might have by saying one thing what a state is this week yes that's right it's coming up this week

[01:11:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean like basically every room was sold out okay and that's included there's other room

[01:11:35] [SPEAKER_00]: right there be told to tell you just showed up about the tournament late after it was over and said oh yeah

[01:11:43] [SPEAKER_00]: good good players gonna be here the floppy is and this hill or going in the whole

[01:11:51] [SPEAKER_00]: same with my friend Coral Miller and Chris Tartjester cool yeah Liz is here but

[01:11:59] [SPEAKER_07]: he's is more than deserving of course the Florida State Hall of Fame absolutely

[01:12:08] [SPEAKER_00]: so so anyway so let's get a lot of fun inside foods are gonna be doing the commentating

[01:12:13] [SPEAKER_07]: and you know if you can't be there yeah and maybe Mike we can get a quick shout out for

[01:12:21] [SPEAKER_07]: you next weekend during a food stock live just to catch us up as to what's how it goes

[01:12:27] [SPEAKER_07]: and what's happening there on the scene sound good yeah we got to be careful that because Bob

[01:12:33] [SPEAKER_00]: he is gonna be there oh is and that's a problem

[01:12:36] [SPEAKER_00]: it's been a thousand and four and never know what we're gonna be doing it carry over you

[01:12:41] [SPEAKER_00]: and do things like that like we like we did it a tournament in Dallas I will talk about

[01:12:47] [SPEAKER_00]: but anyway all right well it shouldn't be a lot of fun there's a lot of guys coming they probably

[01:12:51] [SPEAKER_00]: would have came as a bob it's a different people are gonna be here so it's gonna be a

[01:12:58] [SPEAKER_01]: real weird you'll be a good mess it's a food ball tournament that's you know security is

[01:13:04] [SPEAKER_01]: gonna be called so but hey hey real quick before we go to any of the listeners if if you're
