Episode number 245. It's getting close. 250, not far away. We'll have to think about something to do for the future for 250.

[00:02:19] But hey, thanks for joining us on Twitch TV tonight. Looking forward to talking about foosball as we always do. And if you're going to discuss foosball, well, you may as well discuss it with somebody who really digs the game, which would be Randy Raposo. Welcome back, Randy. Hey, Tom. You got that look on your face. I've been feeling aggressive. Listen, I got a new toy. Listen, listen. What is that? Taser.

[00:02:49] That's a taser? Put on your keychain. I got a couple of these. Oh, man. It slides on your keychain. It's a flashlight. So, look. See it? It's a flashlight. Okay. And then when you hit it right. Oh. Yeah. Oh. A little pick-me-up in the morning. There's nothing like that. I'm sure. The thing is, Tom, it's been a couple weeks. And I got a, hey, Chase and Eddie, I love you guys. They did a great job.

[00:03:15] And then, obviously, last week, I was really bummed to miss being on with Adam and Clay. I love those guys. They did a great job. Yeah. I've just been hustling, Tom. Unfortunately. Working. Essentially, I say working, but mostly volunteering because people who work get paid. So, I've just been basically wasting my time. But when I have a minute, I play foosball, which is nice. And sometimes when I'm driving, I have free time.

[00:03:44] And I call my buddy, Wes. And fortunately, him and his sister-wife wanted to come on and be with us tonight. So, let's go. Let's not waste any time. So, you guys know each other already. But already he's starting. All my sleepy time pills are already kicking in, Tom. Let's go. Well, tonight's episode is entitled Foosball Couples. And we know a few, right?

[00:04:14] Like Keisha and Terry. Terry. Yep. We'll marry him and call him. They're also foosball couples. I mean. How about Brandon and Isabel? That's right. Yeah. Bracklin and Hannah. Bracklin and Hannah. Yep. Yep. What about the Krugers? Teddy Kruger and his wife is Amanda Kruger. Amanda. Amanda. Yeah. She's definitely a player. I mean, there's a bunch of them. Yeah. Yeah. There's a bunch of them.

[00:04:41] So, and this is just one of the lovely couples that plays foosball right here. Yeah. Exactly. So, let's introduce formally Wesley Parrott and Kelly Parrott. And guys, I know you're not too far from his neighborhood in Alabama. About two hours. Two hours. Yeah. Not far. Not far. I mean, in New York State terms, that's right next door. Yeah. Right. Yeah. So, guys, welcome to the show. In Alabama terms. Alabama's a big state, Tom. It is.

[00:05:11] It takes eight hours to drive from the top all the way to the bottom. Oh, yeah, yeah. No, I realize. Yeah. I mean, geographically speaking, they're all pretty big states in this part of the world. So, anyway. Well, except Rhode Island. We wouldn't say. There you go, buddy. Yeah. There you go. Or Delaware. That's right. Or Maryland. Even Massachusetts. It's really not that big. Yeah. I get all those small states confused. Right. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. So, Wesley and Kelly, thank you so much for being here.

[00:05:40] We're really looking forward to hanging out and just talking about foosball. First of all, Wesley, I appreciate you being in, quote unquote, the room with the table behind you. And love that neon sign, man. That's cool. What did you get? My oldest son got that for me. Oh, nice. Oh, very cool. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. And so, Kelly, do you honestly have to flip a coin as to who's going to be in the foosball room tonight?

[00:06:10] She was just, she's embarrassed of me, so she just wanted to get far away. She could. 100%. Yeah. Okay. 100. I'm supposed to translate tonight, Tom, just so you know. Is that what you're doing? Okay. Got it. Got it. And, Kluson, what are you eating tonight? A cough drop. A cough drop. Oh. Are you getting sick again? No, I just like the taste. Okay. I got you. Harry.

[00:06:40] I got to let you know that I was trying to get Chase to trash talk you when you weren't here. He won't do it. He's like, I can't do that, man. I can't do that to my buddy Randy. He's such a great dude. I'm like, are we talking about the same person here? Chase loves me. I love Chase. Yeah. Yeah. It's not going to happen. He's loyal. He's loyal for sure. Yeah, of course. I mean, Eddie, now, Eddie, I don't know about Eddie, but Chase, no, Chase won't do it. Eddie was fun, I got to say.

[00:07:09] And I had never met him prior to the show. And it just, yeah, he really, he's got a really different viewpoint, but just a super nice guy. Super nice guy. That's a good way of putting it. Yeah. Yeah, he does. I'm a diplomat. What can I tell you? But no, it was great. And we did miss you for sure. But that was a good show. I listened. I listened. I listened. I didn't get a chance to listen live last week, but I listened when I was on the road.

[00:07:38] And like I said, I miss being here. The shows are great. So I appreciate you guys. Definitely. You were here in spirit one way or the other. No, I really wasn't. I was asleep. So. Okay. Nevermind. So, Kelly, let's start with you. I know that, you know, being, every time we have a brand new guest on the show, it's only traditional, but it's also customary for having, kind of isolating your past when it comes to foosball.

[00:08:06] So, first of all, when was the first time you saw a foosball table? What was it? And how old were you at the time? It was a tornado table. Okay. Oh, gosh. I was probably 21. 21. Oh, so an adult. Yeah, maybe. Oh, yeah, for sure. I didn't know anything about foosball until Wesley. And he had gotten a table and we had it in our utility room.

[00:08:36] And I was out doing clothes and I was like, what is this table about? So I tried to hit the ball around and I was not, you know, impressed. I didn't really understand anything that was happening. So fast forward to about three years later and he started back playing. Okay. No, no, no, no. Three years ago. Three years ago. Sorry. Yes. Three years ago. And then I really got hooked and started playing the game. So. What was the turning point for you?

[00:09:05] What got you so excited about the game? Well, I know. Oh, I know. What is it? What got me so excited? What is it? Was it the fact that you went to your first worlds and won women's amateur doubles? No, not that. Really? No, that was not it. Yeah. Not that title. Not that title. Go ahead. No, that's not what I did. Yeah. So we had went to Battle of the Mountains in 22? Hmm. 22.

[00:09:33] And I just, we had been playing some and just pick up games and at little local tournaments and wasn't really that good. But anyway, we were playing and I had a pick up game. It was beginners. And I scored like three out the back. Wow. And that hooked me right there. I was just, I wanted to play all the time then. So started playing more as a goalie. I'm a goalie anyway, but that's what did it. So I've been hooked ever since and really, really enjoy the game.

[00:10:03] So it can really blame Wesley then for dragging you. It's all Wesley's fault. Yes, it is. But I really do enjoy it. Yeah, yeah. Always is. And you're now currently, you're an amateur, correct? Yes. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Have you, what is your, so far your favorite tournament that you've played in? What do you, what's your best memory so far? I guess it would have to be winning worlds. Yeah. No kidding.

[00:10:33] Yeah. That makes sense. That was. Vera. Vera. Huh? Was it with Vera? Vera Branovich? Yes. Yeah. I didn't have a partner. We were standing there and she walked up to me and she said, you want to play amateur doubles? And I was like, you know, I'm a beginner, right? She said, I've seen you play. You want to play? I was like, sure. Sure. So we played and we just kept winning matches and I'd walk over and I'd tell Wesley, how we won a match, you know, because I figured we got too straight.

[00:11:00] And then the next one, won a match, won a match. And then Wesley was like, wait a minute, how many of you won? I said, I don't know, like four or five. He said, oh, you're getting pretty deep. Yeah. So anyway. I was like, you're about to win king seat and you got to be. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So we did and we won the whole thing and it was, it was very exciting. Now I've seen her play. She's, she's a very good player. There's no question, but she is. Yes. The times I've seen her play, she's a goalie.

[00:11:29] So you're both goalies and, and you still won. Yeah. Well, she, of course she forward, she was playing forward. Well, we swapped. Okay. But yes, she, she does both, but she was forward for us that, that go around. So. Wow. Awesome. That's fantastic. Ver's got a, Ver's got a good forward game. She, uh, her and Vivian March key won women's doubles at Michigan at the great lakes classic last year.

[00:11:56] So she's got, she, yeah, she got a good little five and she shoots a nice pull shot. I watched a few of those matches, uh, with her and Kelly and she, she played well, you know, she, uh, she was, she was steady. They, uh, they beat some tough teams to win that. So, you know, I, I wasn't, I wasn't jealous at all. Not even a little, I've been trying to win. I've won a world title for like 23 years. And I, I've, I wasn't jealous at all. Super. That was the first time at worlds. Oh, really? Wow. Great. Yeah. First time.

[00:12:26] I was bragging camp. Man. That's okay. And I guess you'll be coming back. Wow. Oh, if I could reach through this screen and choke you, I promise. Anyway. Yeah. Thanks Wes. Thanks for getting her into it, bud. Appreciate it. Yeah. So Wesley, it's your turn. Uh, when, how, so, um, the first time you saw a foosball table, what kind was it? And, uh, what, what, uh, how old were you at the time when you saw a foosball table?

[00:12:57] Um, probably 16 years old. Teenager. Okay. Uh, the bowling alley in Alexander city had two tables. It had a, uh, two dynamos. One was a green glass top and the other was a brown top. The dynamo, the green top was pretty bad shape. We played on the brown top, but it had all mismatched balls. And we didn't, we had no clue what we were doing. Um, we had a couple of local guys.

[00:13:23] I didn't even know, um, that foosball was big out there, you know, had big tournaments and stuff like that. And, um, Steve Dodgen made some connections and, um, through Rodney Jenkins and made, uh, he got a couple of tables put in a local pool hall down there. And man, uh, I tell you what, when we walked into that pool hall and saw those table, new tables set up lights on them, that bright green surface, as opposed to that Brown.

[00:13:51] And, um, I could like hear angels singing and, um, the excitement level was through the roof at this point. I was already kind of hooked, but we, we had like a little small tournament and it was, I was really hooked at that point. Um, but that was in the, from nineties, early nineties up to, um, 96 ish. Got it. So you've, uh, you've been playing for a good portion of your adult life. Let's put it that way.

[00:14:21] Uh, actually, no, um, I quit for like 25 years and started back only three years ago. Oh, really? 25 years out of the game. Okay. How often, you know, I hear the typical story of, uh, of raising kids and paying bills, you know? Right. Understood. Understood. And so by the time you got back into the game, you, you, uh, you had a, you bought a table. Is that what happened when you got back in? No, actually, um, a couple of buddies of mine invited me to a tournament in Leeds, Alabama and, uh, just to watch them play.

[00:14:52] And, um, of course we played some pickup games before the tournament started. And, um, of course, when the tournament actually gets drawn up, there was one player short and they needed me to play. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. And I didn't want to do it. And, uh, so I played and, and I got hooked and from that tournament and I had to buy a table at that. Wow. It must've been quite an experience to get you back in like that. I, I fought it. I really did. I didn't want to do it.

[00:15:20] And, uh, they, they was very, uh, convincing and got me to do it. It sounds like a, like a, like a moment in, uh, The Godfather. I keep getting out and they keep pulling me back in. Well, they made an offer I couldn't refuse. And, and so. I mean, you don't, you don't, you don't want to wake up with a horse head in your bed. So just play the tournament. Yeah. Just do it. Is that easy? Exactly. Just do it. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. Just play. It's okay.

[00:15:50] Yeah. Yeah. Now when you guys, obviously you've been together. Well, how many years you and Kelly? Oh, almost 28, 28 years. Good job. Yeah. See, husbands do have good memories after all. He does. Yeah. He's good. I have to give it to him. Okay.

[00:16:13] And, uh, this, this, this revival in foosball was, was Kelly, you know, was she ready to go, was she willing to have you dive back into the sport? I mean, what was going on? She, she didn't have a clue what it was about, but, um, she knows I'm a competitive person and she watched. And the next thing you know, you know, after we get the table, I buy a table, she starts messing

[00:16:40] around and, and, uh, she wanted to play. So we played a couple of locals and of course, you know, some players are, they'll beat up on a beginner. So, um, she had to learn the hard way on some things. And, uh, yes. But like I said, she, uh, we went to that battle of the mountains in 2022 and, and she got bit and, and, uh, she's been hooked ever since. That's awesome. Man. Yeah. Now, Randy, you've seen these guys play.

[00:17:10] Uh, are they, are they, are they a fierce team or what? Aim? Well, no, uh, individually, they're both very tough. I think together, uh, there, uh, you know, this is the thing, Tom and couples try to play together. It either works or it doesn't. Sometimes it clicks and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you want to do so well for your partner that sometimes you're just, it just doesn't pan out.

[00:17:37] So, uh, I mean, they got second and expert mix at Mississippi state last year. They, they played well. Uh, they, they do show flashes of brilliance. I've played with both of them. I enjoy playing with both of them. They're both fierce competitors. They're, I, I like playing with both of them together. So much. I don't know. I mean, maybe it depends on what day of the week it is. Uh, we have gotten better, but have you, have you though?

[00:18:08] Explain a little, not a lot, maybe not a lot, maybe. You guys take it. It makes it Mississippi. You did. You did. So what? So when's the next time you guys are going to, when's the next time you guys are going to play mix together? There you go. There's the face. When he doesn't have a partner. Oh boy. The face. No. Uh, uh, The next two are being honest. Probably.

[00:18:38] Okay. Then you should, you guys should be playing together all the time. You should. I try to get my wife to play. She wants nothing to do with it. We look, see this. Okay. Tom, Tom, we're going to pretend like they're not here for a second. Right. Myself and some, you don't have to cover yours. Myself and some of the other guys were like, like dude, Wesley's got it made, bro. Like he plays Kelly's into it. Like they go play foosball. Like I try to get my wife to come. Yes. It wants nothing to do with it. I'm like, I'll show you how to play. We'll play mixed together.

[00:19:08] We'll no, no, no. And it's, I mean, I'm just saying it could be. And I've told her, I said, you're always wanting, you know, us to do something. I don't want to take a pottery class. I don't want to go learn how to tango. I don't want to do any of that crap. Right. Let's go play foosball together. Nah, I don't want to do that. Oh, okay. So I'm, I mean. Yeah, I would, I would play with my wife. I would play my wife all the time. What do you want to play? You want to play mixed? Sure.

[00:19:35] You want to play anything that's not pro or open doubles? Sure. Yeah. Cause I'm, I couldn't play with her in that. She's terrible. But I mean, I mean, I'm just being honest. So I love her, but she sucks at foosball. So anyway. So no, Wesley, Wesley and Wesley and Kelly popped in a few years ago and they just became a staple in our local scene. And obviously on tour, they, I mean, they've been hitting like six events a year.

[00:20:04] And of course they always got those cute, they always got those cute little dogs with them. And, um, you know, Wesley, Wesley, he's, what's, what's he's won a couple. What do you win? Some rookie, some amateur. He just won expert at Florida state with Jonathan. Say his last name. Jonathan Chang. Jonathan Chang. Oh, nice. Jonathan. Yeah. Yeah. You know, they, you got a, somebody got a set in on you, but you guys pulled it out in the second set, right? Yeah.

[00:20:31] Callum and his partner, um, isn't slipping my mind. We might, we had King C and they, uh, honestly, they put it on us pretty good in the first set. Yep. And, um, they, they, they, they whooped up, they beat us pretty good. And, um, uh, the second set was, it was a very tight contested match. And, um, we, we, we got lucky and pulled it out. Yeah. But you still pulled it out. Callum's good, man. That is tough. He's really tough.

[00:21:01] I played against him a couple times. But Wesley, Wesley, for somebody who's only been back for a few years, he's, you know, he's been in some big finals. He's won some matches. He's won some events. Uh, we actually, we played a couple of locals recently. They had a one day in Leeds. We went over there and, uh, and we won. Uh, there was a couple of pro teams. I think there was three or four pro teams. We won. And then we just went and played in Georgia last weekend. And, uh, I think there was 15 or 16 teams. We ended up getting second.

[00:21:29] Unfortunately, Chris Folsom was focused on beating us. He was adamant that he was going to beat us. You had to play Chris? Yeah. Yeah. Chris, Chris played well. Chris played really well. And, uh, you know, we, yeah, we, uh, yeah, we, we couldn't pull that one out. But unfortunately, uh, I mean, we had fun. Wesley played great. I just, I sucked in the final and it is what it is. So, but I mean, as far as local foosball, like this is the problem, Tom, like we were talking about earlier, right?

[00:21:58] Alabama is such a big state. Yeah. Wesley and Kelly are there two hours away, dude. You know, it'd be, it'd be nice to get a little practice session in, but I, you know, I've been over to their place. Wes has been over to mine. Um, you know, I wish there was somewhere in the middle. We do try to get like, uh, you know, we do have mutual friends. We try to get over to their plate. We go, we try to go to Chris's house. Chris Folsom has a really nice setup, but, um, you know, Alabama foosball is just weird, man.

[00:22:28] Um, it's just weird. Yes. I think there's every state or every, every location, every local is different and unique, uh, has its own strengths and weaknesses. And, you know, it's, it's about trying to improve the weaknesses and, and, uh, exploit the strengths. It's a, it's a tough thing. Uh, especially when it comes to promoting the sport, uh, in your area. And, uh, we've had a lot of folks on, including Thomas Dyke from Tennessee, who's, uh, who's been really instrumental in, in building a scene, uh, more.

[00:22:58] Matt McCrory from Buffalo has really done a great job in, in building his scene. Um, so here's a quick question for you, Kelly. How would, how do we, uh, build your scene? How would we get more, more ladies to come out and play? Hmm. I really don't know. Um, I think a lot of women that play are the wives of men that play, but, um, I really

[00:23:26] don't know how to get more women out. Do you, Randy? Three puppies. Three puppies. Oh, may we bring puppies? Puppies. Three puppies. Three puppies. Three pets. Three puppy pets. Right? Do like a little, like a, like a petting zoo kind of thing. There you go. Sure. Women love puppies. Women love puppies. Well, here's an idea. I'll bring puppies. You can pet the puppies. We could do, uh. I always, you always, yeah. I mean, you had some the other day. They were so stinking. I got pictures, Tom. One of them's got cow patches. He's so stinking cute. Oh, no kidding. No kidding.

[00:23:55] But no, look again, Alabama, Georgia, like even so Mississippi, Mississippi's got a good thing. They, they just got their thing going a couple of years ago and it's been slowly building. Uh, you know, Georgia's got a spot and they got a good scene, but sometimes the locals don't want to support it. Alabama, they have something in Madison, which is North Alabama, almost near Huntsville. And then there's some stuff in Coleman, which is probably like 45 minutes south of that. Coleman is like 45 minutes north of Birmingham.

[00:24:25] I'm 30 minutes south of Birmingham. These guys are two hours away. So it's, it's tough to get everybody in the same room. Right. In one night. In one night. Yeah. Especially when there's that kind of distance involved for sure. Yeah. So your local scene, um, how many tables do you have? What, uh, what's the setup like? Wesley. Uh, it leaves.

[00:24:52] There's, uh, on a normal Friday night, there's only two tables. Okay. Um, but if on a, on a bigger tournament, Rodney brings an extra couple of tables sometimes. And, uh, but Marietta, that's, um, we usually have a bigger turnout and, um, and Johnny's lounge, Johnny Travis, he's got, uh, he's got six tables in his basement. Oh, wow. Yeah. In his own house. It's a nice setup. That's always, yeah. Yeah.

[00:25:22] Johnny Travis is a local fooser in Georgia who graciously allows us to go destroy his house like once a month. So he's got six tables in his basement and, and a couple of the guys, Lee, Lee, Lee Cuther and Lee Goldstein, a cook and we play food and legal. Look, I'm going to tell you something. All the listeners, next time you see legal scene at a tournament, find them and ask him if you can taste his meat. It's delicious. Taste his meat.

[00:25:52] Yeah. I put his meat in my mouth all the time. So all the, all the time, Tom, it's amazing. And then he makes, he makes his own sauce too. It's tangy. Yeah. Lee Goldstein, man. Yeah. Yeah. USDA certified meat. Yes. Correct. Okay. I've seen it beef as opposed to chicken or, or pork. No, no. So, yeah. So actually for the kickoff, he, uh, he smoked a nine pound Boston, but oh, and that thing, it just fell apart.

[00:26:21] Like it was. And the thing is, you got to kind of be on the list with him, right? You got to be like a VIP, but okay. Lee do at least so stinking cool. Tom, if you're there and Lee's there, I'll hook you up, but he, he makes his own Carolina mustard. I mean, it's so stinking good. So again, Georgia players, the fact that the locals don't come out just to eat the food blows my mind. It blows my mind. So, but so for Kelly and Wesley, like how far is it for you guys to Johnny's two hours,

[00:26:50] two hours, two hours, two hours, two hours, Tom, one way it's two four. It's two 45 for me. Uh, so, you know, for us to get good competition, we gotta, we got, we gotta take a little ride. Right. So I get, yeah. Yeah. It's I'm jealous of the Louisiana scene. They, they have great turnouts all the time. Yeah. Yeah. It sounds like they've got quite a, quite a, quite a base of players there for sure. Of course. Great players. Great guys.

[00:27:23] Location too. I saw they got like some pickleball place. They got some tables in a pickleball place. Man. Pickleball. Pickleball gets so much. I saw that. Man. Yeah. It's, it's the, that's the one thing. My wife will not play foosball, but she will play pickleball. And she likes to destroy me on the court on a regular basis, uh, which ain't difficult at my age, but, uh, you know, pickleball. Pickleball. How did they get that name?

[00:27:53] I always wonder. I'm not a hundred percent sure on that. I don't know. Ghosting, I know why he plays pickleball. Don't answer that question, Wesley. Anyway, so, so before the show, you were going to tell us a story, uh, about, about, so again, I'll, I'll just let the listeners know pre pre-show Tom was asking if, uh, how he should

[00:28:21] introduce Kelly and Wesley, if they should be introduced as, you know, if they're married or if they're brother and sister. And I told Tom, I said, both it's Alabama. So, uh, and, and we do have a running, a running joke where we, we, we, when we see Kelly, we say, Hey, Wesley sister. So anyway, Wesley, please tell us that story. Well, the brother sister thing really only in Lee County, Alabama.

[00:28:48] Uh, so, um, uh, when, when, when we first started showing up at Johnny Travis's place, nobody knew who we were and they both, everybody would see parrot and parrot. And they didn't know if we were together or brother sister or what. And, um, Chris Folsom, you know, he's a character and, uh, he, uh, every time I would walk in the door, he'd be like, Hey, Wesley.

[00:29:18] And Hey, Wesley sister. Every time, even after he knew it's just a running joke. That's funny. So, um, where Kelly, she goes to her first world, right? And like, she was telling you the story, how she linked up with Vera and they make the finals and all this. So they're in the finals and, um, they lose their first set. Uh, so it gets forced to the second set and, uh, first game, second set.

[00:29:47] They're of course, swapping and using their timeouts. And there's a huge crowd in the bleachers watching the women's amateur double finals. And, um, I was sitting beside Folsom in the bleachers and anyways, um, they had used their timeouts and accidentally Kelly got stuck in the front and she, at this time, she was a very, you know, she was a beginner and, um, Kelly was stuck on front.

[00:30:15] And of course the opposing team wasn't going to call a timeout. And, um, so Vera stuck on back, Kelly stuck on front and it's game ball. It's four, four. So somehow Kelly nags the ball on the three bar and everybody's like, Hey, take a time out. But we was like, they're out. So Kelly sets the ball up and, um, and nobody knew what she was going to do except me because

[00:30:44] I told her I've been trying to work with her on shooting a pull shot. And all she knew how to do was try to stroke it past the big dot and, and, you know, go long. And, um, so she sets the ball up and she was nervous, of course, uh, a true beginner in the finals at worlds. And she sits on the ball probably five or six seconds like a veteran man. And, um, Marie McClure was the goalie. And honestly, I think she was, um, petrified.

[00:31:11] I think she was scared to mess around and give a beginner a straight or a short split. And me knowing the whole time, Kelly hasn't even practiced that. So I knew where she was going. And she said on about five or six seconds and she strokes right around it and scores the game winning ball on that first game of the second set. Wow. And as soon as it hits the box, Folsom screams out, great shot, Wesley sister. And it was hilarious.

[00:31:41] Um, that moment to go down in infamy for us and, uh, never be forgotten. That was a great moment. And that's that, that point was honestly the, the, what won the match because now they're up one game in the second set and Vera can get back on front. And, um, honestly, Kelly, Kelly was more happy about that point than she was the final because I honestly, yeah, they hugged and, um, and like, as if the match was over, but they still

[00:32:11] had, they still had to play another game. Sure. But that, that's how that moment played out. And that's been a running joke ever since. Yep. So I'm Wesley sister. To Folsom. Get t-shirts made up, you know, and wear the, wear the t-shirt Wesley sister. Um, so that moment, let's go back to that moment because to me, that's what this game is all about.

[00:32:39] So being in that moment, how do you, you know, what's going through your mind? So he's, you know, obviously Wesley knows that you're, you're good at that. You can, you can go past the big dot. What were you thinking? Don't lose the ball. Don't lose the ball. Yes. Uh, I was just very nervous, but I didn't, like he said, she thought I was going to go straight or short split. And I really didn't even know what those were. Okay.

[00:33:07] So all I knew was to, to pull the ball long and hit it and hope it went in. So I was sitting and I was very nervous and I just thought, just pull it and hit it, just pull it and hit it. And I did. And it went in. So, but, um, I was, like he said, I was more excited about getting that shot than actually winning. I think the whole thing. Yeah. But. Um, it was so long. It hit the corner of the box. Did a re-stroke it. Okay. Nice. As it should. So dead ball. Dead ball.

[00:33:36] That's what you say. Yep. I wouldn't go that far, but it was long. Not that far. I don't know about that. I don't know about that. Dead ball. It was a slice. It sliced over there, but it got there. Yeah. Yeah. Nice. So. So now, you know, with that kind of experience, you're probably, you know, maybe you want to play forward a little more often. What do you think? Uh, I do want to play forward. Okay. Not real good at forward.

[00:34:04] I have to practice 20 minutes a day, um, to get better. I mean, it's a day, Cal Cal 10 minutes. That's it. Is that the routine? Is that, is that, are you doing that though? That's the question. That's the question. Are you finding the time? I know I'm not. No, I'm going to be honest. I mean, no. Yeah. Yeah. We appreciate your honesty. Yeah. Yeah. I try to practice, but it's hard. Yeah. Yeah. Wesley, how many hours are you putting in a day, bud?

[00:34:37] Um, I put in a solid 10, 15 minutes a day. Okay. Before breakfast. In increments of, yeah, that's before breakfast. And then throughout the, I'll, I'll jokes aside. I, it fluctuates. You know, I go away from the table, make some memes, talks, talk on the, to friends on the phone. And, uh, but honestly, uh, throughout a day, I'm going to get at least an hour. If not in Sundays, it may be three hours.

[00:35:07] Okay. Okay. That's good. That's really good. He has a lot more free time. It don't show, but I do. It's fraudulent. That's fraudulent. I told you it's, it's, you know, this is the problem, Tom. People think that it's, you know, the results are going to be instantaneous. It's, it's, you'll, you'll see a difference. It does happen, but for some people. It takes time. It is. I mean, we're not, we're not all Jacob Balcos. Right.

[00:35:36] Right, right, right. With the 16 year olds or 17 or 18 year olds energy level. Yeah, we can't. Officially turn 18. Yeah. Officially turn 18. Yeah, he's 18. I know I had it marked on my calendar. I'm going to throat punch him when I see him. That kid's a beast. Let me tell you. Yeah. Yeah. He's a good boy. He's a good boy. Yeah. Yeah. Is there, is there. And Maya and his sister's coming on strong too. There you go. Yeah. Oh, Maya's fantastic.

[00:36:06] She's really good. Yeah. It just seems to be in the DNA somehow. So between the two of you, is there, is there a time during the week where you can say, okay, tonight we're going to play for who does the dishes? You know, and let's say best two out of three, something like that. Is there any time like that where you guys could set aside to do that? No, I'm a good guy. I wash the dishes before she gets home from work. Sometimes.

[00:36:36] Well, there's got to be something at stake here. Sometimes. You know, there's got to be something to incentivize. You know, something like, okay, you buy dinner next time we go out or something like that. Whoever wins has to, you know, I don't know. It just seems to me like there should be something. There's a gap between us. So I kind of give her something to practice on.

[00:37:02] When I play Randy, Steve Dodgen, Chris Folsom, they know kind of what I'm working on. And they'll like show something to me to see if I can execute it or whatever. And I kind of do that with Kelly, try to help her execute what she's trying to do. Gotcha. Gotcha. Gotcha. No competition. Yeah. Now, is this, does this increase the amount of time you guys are spending practicing together

[00:37:31] before a big tournament, let's say? Does that happen? No. No. She, to be honest with you, Kelly rarely practices. She gets a fire up under after we get back from a tour event. She's like, I'm going home and I'm going to practice and I'm going to get better. But when you get home, real life interrupts and time makes it hard. It does. Well. I'm going to find 10 minutes out of the day to practice, though. Okay, good. 10 minutes, Kelly.

[00:38:01] 10 minutes. Being an adult sucks. Being an adult sucks. It sucks. It really does. It sucks. It really does. Yeah. Yeah. So, Wesley, when you guys do play, do you take it easy on her? You ever just let her win? No. I don't let her win. I'll work on some things and she'll, no lie, she'll steal a game from me every now and then. But I'm working on some things also.

[00:38:29] But, you know, I don't, I don't, it's, I work on some things when I do play against her also. I'm not giving her my tournament game. I'm giving, I'm trying to work on a certain series or I'm working on a certain hole to shoot. Or, she runs a good zone, honestly. When we play singles, she kind of, I've got a weird zone. She kind of copied it and it's kind of, she actually runs a pretty good zone. So, when I shoot on her from the back, she makes me work for it. Cool.

[00:38:59] Well. Yeah. It's, it seems to me there's, there's, there's got to be something that, that can incentivize, you know, getting on the table at least once a week or something like that. You know, like playing, playing a board game on a Saturday night. Instead, it's, let's get on the foosball table. No? Sure. If, that sounds like something we need to, we'd probably need to start. Yes. That would, that would incentivize her to get on the table and practice more.

[00:39:27] Or, could you just invite a couple of other people to come over and then make it a, you know, a doubles night where you're playing together against another couple or something like that? Well, the closest couple would be 45 minutes, close to an hour away. Okay. Gotcha. Yeah. Got it. And then my wife, and then my wife just wants to play rummy cube. So. For settlers, settlers of Catan. We don't have any locals. There's nobody close. Steve is the closest to us.

[00:39:57] Yeah. Okay. They're talking about Steve Dodge and Tom. It's just, that's what I mean. It's tough. It's tough. So, you know, for, for most of the Alabama players, it's now you have, you have little pockets of population where people, you know, people play and stuff. But for them, like for myself, I got somebody who's not far, but I just, I'm, I'm restricted on, don't laugh, Kelly, shut your face.

[00:40:23] So anyway, so Wesley, anyway, I just practice, I practice at home, Tom. I just practice by myself. Yeah. So, you know, you know, it's, it's tough. Well. You know. You know. Let's, let's talk about what just happened, you know, this, this last couple of months. January kicks in, suddenly it's the, the TKO and you guys made it to the TKO.

[00:40:50] So what, did it meet your expectations or exceeded? Kelly? I think it exceeded. It was great. Nice. Yeah. Yes. In my opinion, it definitely exceeded. I already knew the difficulties about his trust for the pit. Mm-hmm. And the fact that he was able to get the trust that he did get and set it up like it was supposed to be there. Right. Ryan was energetic all weekend. He kept things going.

[00:41:19] He did have some issues. Of course, it's been talked about ad nauseum balls and table issues a little bit, but more balls than anything. But other than that, man, I, I, I can't complain. It was, it was a great tournament. I love the new branding. I love the energy Ryan's bringing. Mm-hmm. Where he gave a hundred bucks for the person to hit the ball the hardest through the hole on a pull shot and a rollover.

[00:41:49] He, he, he brings, he's bringing now the match of the weekend, which is awesome. Um, just several different things he's doing different to bring more interest and to get more people to come out. Uh, he's bringing a lot of excitement. And, and, uh, I like that. I think he exceeded my expectations.

[00:42:09] It seems like, um, just, you know, and, and we've, we've talked about this quite a bit, but, uh, the way that the pit was set up and the way they're so hyper-focused on the finals of, of the open events. Um, it makes people who are watching want to be those people in the pit. Um, it's like a, they're, they are in the spotlight at that moment. And, you know, you want to be in that place.

[00:42:32] You want to be, if, you know, if, if not, you can't be on the team necessarily, but you can be there and watch and, and, uh, be, be a part of the live, live audience for that. Um, so it's, I think that we, as, as a collective, we, uh, in foosball need that to drive forward to, you know, it's like we, that's our incentive. We want it to be in that, that arena and, uh, battling it out, whether it's an open event or amateurs or experts, whatever the event might be.

[00:43:00] But to be in that final, man, that's, uh, makes you work a little harder, doesn't it? Absolutely. I, um, the way the new setup is everybody stops, um, to watch the open women's open in the open singles and doubles. And, um, to me, that's, that's great.

[00:43:22] It does, it does pause the tournament and, uh, some people complain about that, but if you make it to the finals and open, whether it's women or the regular open, every, you want, you want everybody there to watch. Oh yeah. And that's going to bring more excitement, more crowd doors, more energy to the pits.

[00:43:40] And I, I know I haven't been, I've never made a final for open anything, but, um, even the finals that I have made with, without pausing the tournament, I know people are there watching and that just brings that much more excitement. There's more pressure on you. Oh yeah. But the more pressure, the better it feels when you win. Oh yeah. It's a good pressure.

[00:44:04] It's the kind of pressure that, that builds good players, uh, being able to handle that, uh, that moment or when, like, like Kelly was talking about when she's lined up and she's nervous, she's going to lose the ball. And she just wants to score, you know, and it's like, and it happens. And there's, there's a, there's a result that, that that's the, the adrenaline rush we all get that, uh, we want that. And that goes, you probably think about that over and over and over in your head after, after that happens. Yes.

[00:44:33] Reliving that moment. Absolutely. If you hit a game winner in the, in, in the pit in a finals, that's, and I know there's people out there that's hit so many of them that they forget about them. Mm-hmm. But that moment, it hits hard. It, it, you're like, it's such a relief. It's such a rush to hit that. Um, you know, use freedom and Munoz and all the, they, they, to them, it's just another day, another shot. Right.

[00:45:02] But at the, from my perspective, a lower, me and Kelly, a lower, a lower level player. That's something special. We won't forget for a long time when you, if you win a game on game ball and off of your point. Yeah. That's, that's better than the money. It's better than the trophy. It's better than the, the accolades. I think that's, it's a thing that you can think about over and over again. I, I actually did that. That happened. I can't, I can't believe that. You know, it's, uh, and of course it incentivizes you to continue to do, let's get that feeling again, man.

[00:45:30] It's like being, you know, being addicted to drugs. You got to have that same feeling each time. Yeah. Drugs are delicious. Food, food drug is definitely addictive. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Well, and that's another thing Ryan did that I really liked. He made the, he made that pit area like exclusive, right? He was like, not just anybody could go in there. It wasn't like the pit tables. You could play pickup games on. It was, these are for matches. Right.

[00:45:57] There's a, you know, there's an invisible barrier and, you know, it's, uh, I mean, when I started the pits were, it was a pro only area. So not, not just anybody could go into the pits. Right. And for, for a player like myself, like that was a goal. That was an aspiration. Like, I want to get in the pits. Like I want to go play on that table. Sure. You know, especially, especially when, you know, back then it was Jim Stevens recording

[00:46:25] and, and, uh, you know, I hope Ryan brings the prestige of that back right now where it's like, I want to be on table one. I want clay and Adam, you know, I want them talking about me. I want to be on YouTube. I want to shoot a slingshot, win a match and get 3 million views on Instagram or whatever it is. Right. So having goals and, uh, and aspirations in foosball, I think it's, you know, obviously it's healthy, but it's just something to strive for.

[00:46:53] And, you know, Wesley and I, Wesley and I talk often, we, I mean, we talk about foosball a lot and he definitely wants to, you know, improve, grow, get better. And he's putting the time in. Uh, so, you know, it's, it's just a matter of, uh, going out and playing. Rowan. Yeah. Kelly just needs a, Kelly needs a, Kelly needs a practice table time. Table time. Table time. Practice. Yeah.

[00:47:18] So Kelly, I'm curious, um, is there a, is there a player, uh, male or female that, uh, that you, you, uh, like to watch, uh, somebody that, uh, that you'd like to emulate? Is there anybody in particular besides Wesley? Yes. I want to be just like Wesley. Randy does too. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um, no.

[00:47:47] You know, like I would love to be like Hannah and Isabel and Sully. Yeah. That, but I know I'll, I'll never do that, but that is something I can strive to look forward to, to, uh, try to do. Um, you know, it's just, uh, I like to compete and that's, um, that's what I'm in the game for is to compete. So I'll do my best with what I can and practice more. And watch more videos. And watch more videos.

[00:48:15] More, more, uh, more, more of the play-by-play, more of the, more of the games that are out there that are, that are available to us. Uh, you know, of course, Modern Foods is doing a great job with, uh, with archiving some of their stuff now too. So we can go back and watch that, that what was it? The, um, it was the winning shot in open doubles at TKO, Eric Heldner and his, and his slingshot from the two rows. The second one that he did of the game and just put it away. Yeah. Yeah. I see that. He crushed it. Yeah. Crushed that thing. Oh, yeah.

[00:48:45] Yeah. But he set that up, Tom. He set it up. Yes. You know, he hit one early, hit that, that outside bank, threw a nice little pull kick pass. They all just, they all come from the same set. They look the same. And then he hammered that slingshot and yeah, I was standing right there, dude. It was so cool. Tommy, Tommy freaked out. He didn't know. It was like, he didn't know what happened. He's looking back at Eric, like, Hey. Yeah. But so, okay. So, so Kelly. Yes.

[00:49:14] You think Eric practiced that shot? No. Yes. Exactly. 10 minutes a day. 10 minutes a day. Yes. 10 minutes a day. So, so what's the rest of the year looking like for you guys? What do you got lined up for foosball? Nationals. Nice. Nice. Yeah. Nationals. World. Yeah.

[00:49:41] And Mississippi, Louisiana, probably maybe North Carolina. Yeah. That's a good one. Thanksgiving weekend. Yeah. Now between Mississippi and Louisiana, who has the better tournament? Oh, to be honest with you, it's, it's neck and neck. Is it? Those are a couple of, that's some of my favorite tournaments. Cause the people in both tournaments are there. They're just great people. Yeah.

[00:50:09] I, I, I love the, both, both of those States. There's their foosball scene is awesome. And I'm, I'm, I feel like I'm really, I'm, I'm cool with everybody from both of those States. I love both tournaments. I understand. I have a, yeah. Kind of an apples to apples comparison. Yeah. No, I was going to say, absolutely. Maybe Louisiana edges it out because of their food, you know, better food out of places like new Orleans. It's the people for me, honestly. All right. Okay.

[00:50:39] I got you. I listen, honestly, Tom, you're not too far off. One of the best steaks I ever had in my life was in Louisiana. And then, uh, Brandon put me onto a couple of things down there. Do you know what crackling is? Crackling? Am I saying that right? Crackling? Crackling? Crackling? Crackling? No, it's, it's just like, it's like, it's fried chicken skin. Seasoned and fried chicken skin. Crackling. There you go. Oh my God. It is amazing.

[00:51:09] So good. Yeah. It's like the best part of the chicken. Just, just seasoned and fried. Like my wife will take the skin off and throw it away. I'm like, what are you doing? Give me that. That's the best part. The best part. Yeah. And then, yeah. Yeah. And then what was it? Bo, boot, bootin, boot, bootin. Yeah. Good Lord. Yeah. You hooked me up, man. Again, I don't know how that does not 400 pounds. Yeah. Yeah. That's good stuff.

[00:51:36] I mean, Mississippi food, it's like, kind of like Alabama food, but yeah. But I mean, as far as the foosball, it's the same people in both tournaments. Okay. You know, Wesley. Okay. Wesley's got it right. Apples to apples, Tom. Would there, would there ever be an Alabama state? No. No. No, he, as he shakes his head, yes. No. So they, they're used to be. Yeah. In the nineties. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.

[00:52:04] There used to be, you know, I, I've got somebody asking me to do something now, but the problem is, um, you know, it's, it's all logistics. Yeah. We, I actually, I actually have a location in central Alabama. I got a gentleman that wants me to run something. He wants to put something together, but it's, you know, tables and, uh, software and, you know, all that stuff. So there's a lot of work that goes into it. You know, right now I'm, I'm trying to help a group of guys put something together and it's just, it's a lot of stink.

[00:52:33] It's work and money, work, money and time. And I don't have any of them. So, uh, I, you know, it's, I mean, I have work that I have to do and time I don't have and money I'm broke. So, um, anybody wants to help put together in Alabama state, hit me up. If you want to give me money, volunteer your time. Do it up. I can do it. I can make it happen. Yeah. Well, I mean, it's, it's, uh, it's tough because the calendar is so full already.

[00:53:03] You know, where, where do you find a date? That's the other problem. Um, because I mean, I'm looking at our, at our, our tournament beat calendar and just, it just gets longer and longer and we're not even, I think the latest one we have on our calendar right now is for August and that's going to fill in real quick for the rest of the year. Oh yeah. Uh, once we get the confirmed dates, but it's, it's crazy. It's like, okay, every weekend there's something else going on and I get you. I mean, you know, you could do something the same weekend as money ball, but it's also the

[00:53:32] same weekend as the Costa Rica event. So yeah. Yeah. We're getting spread in here. It's a lot of stuff going on. It would have to be early in the year. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. It had to be, uh, maybe say it'd be difficult to do before TKO cause I mean, to a kickoff. Right. Uh, so it'd have to be two weeks after maybe or something. Yeah.

[00:53:58] But then think about it, Wes, like right after Christmas, new years, like some people don't, you know, again, that's what I mean. It's you have to, it has to be right. And it's just so, it's so tough, man. It's so tough. You know, when, when Rodney used to run them, Rodney ran Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee. So essentially this region of the country, he, he set up the States, he ran them, he did all that.

[00:54:25] And, you know, now it's, um, I mean, it's just, it's not like you said, Tom, Islanders filling up, man. It's filling up. Yeah. We actually, uh, not to, not to disclose too much information, but we finally, we locked in a date for when we're going to do our thing. And, uh, now we locked in a day, we locked an event. And yeah, yeah. We locked in a day, we locked in, we locked in a venue.

[00:54:50] Um, you know, we got a couple more logistical things we got to sort out, get our table straightened out. And then, uh, hopefully, hopefully in a month, we're going to announce it. So, um, you know, it's, it's still, I mean, maybe I'm saying too much, but it's, it's still, it's still in the early phases, but we're, you know, we're really trying to put something cool together, uh, for the Northeast. So, um, you know, we should have a special occasion.

[00:55:16] Where, where you release to the entire world on FoosDuck Live, when it's going to take place and where it's going to be and all that kind of, we could do like a, kind of like a CD release party without the CD. All right. I'll do it right now. So I'm not going to do it. I'm not going to do that. I'm not going to quit, quit, quit, quit playing the plan. So I don't know if you know this either, Tom, but Wesley, Wesley actually started the foosball group. Um, what is it, Wes? What's the name of the group?

[00:55:46] Uh, the Foosball Players Union. I may have named it wrong because it's not really like a union deal, but that's just what I named it. Oh, okay. Wait, so, so I'm sending you, I'm sending you dues every month. What do you mean? It's not a union. What are you doing with my money, bro? Yeah, that's right. Yeah, that's right. I had to have a table, bro. Yeah. I get it. I get it.

[00:56:13] So he, he started that Facebook page for anybody listening. If you don't know, go over there, jump in. Cause it's just a, it's just another place to talk foosball. Cool. So honestly, I've seen, I've seen some people talking and I think it was, um, Foos Talk radio page or maybe. Okay. Whatever. And they were saying, well, we don't, this is not the place for it. And they, and people was like, well, we really don't have a better place. Um, that would be a place.

[00:56:42] Cause that's really, that's really the reason I started that group is for people to come talk foosball. If they have issues with something going on, whether it be, um, um, the format tournament format, whether it be the balls, tables, rods, uh, just anything they want to talk about. Right. It's there. Um, there's almost 600 members now. Most everybody's going to go to discuss on the page where the most people are. And right now that's not it.

[00:57:11] If, if we can get everybody to join, that would be the proper place for it. Um, I need to, uh, I need to make a change on it, which Randy told me earlier about that. Um, I will do that tomorrow. Uh, make it public. Yep. Okay. Yeah. Make it public. Make it, make it public. So it can all jump on. I mean, you need a forum, you know, someplace where people like there, but there was what, uh, the foosball board at one time. Oh man.

[00:57:41] I was all, yeah, I was all over that thing, dude. Yeah. Yeah. I missed that board. Mm hmm. Yeah. That's the idea. You could get good info. You could get good information off that board, you know, and that's, that's the thing. Foosball players. We just need a place to, you know, to commune. And talk and share information. So, uh, I know Facebook is the place, but I'm not on Facebook. Well, um, Wesley, it sounds like that's the right idea though, man. That's, that's the thing to do right there is, is build the page, uh, build it and they will come, you know?

[00:58:12] Um, and people, yes, I do need to make it public. I didn't know. Um, I didn't think about it. It was on invite basically. Okay. Or a request. And I need to change that. Gotcha. Gotcha. Gotcha. Yeah. It's, we'll be standing by and, uh, we'll jump on as soon as it's ready to go for sure. I think it's a great idea. Um, you know, and, and there's always something new that, uh, that happens during the week.

[00:58:38] And, uh, we like to talk about stuff on the weekends, of course on Sunday, but, you know, uh, a lot of stuff happens and it just slips through the cracks for us. We forget about it. So if there's a place where people can go on immediately and talk about stuff, that's awesome. That's a great idea. Yeah. Yes. I've been, I've been sharing all the lines of information, everything he shares from, uh, I basically go straight to it and, um, and it hopes to draw more people in. But, uh, like I said, when I make it public, I think I'll get more people. Yeah, absolutely.

[00:59:09] Absolutely. Wow. Well, guys, I got to say that, uh, it's an absolute pleasure getting a chance to hang out. Um, looking forward to, because we're going to be, uh, we're going to be at the same place a couple of times this year, uh, including worlds. So we'll, um, maybe, uh, as, as a collective here, we'll, we'll, uh, get a, an informal pickup game. It'll be, uh, let's say, uh, Randy and Kelly and me and, uh, Wesley, and we'll, we'll, we'll stomp you guys. How's that sound? That won't be fair. That won't be fair. Not at all.

[00:59:37] That wouldn't be fair at all. No. I mean, whatever you guys want to do, it don't matter. That's fine. Yeah. Okay. I mean, it won't, it won't be fair, but that's fine. So, yeah. But so before, before we, before we wrap it up, you guys, um, how many puppies you guys got ready to go right now? Puppies. Yeah. They do puppies. They have the cutest little French bulldogs, man. How many puppies you guys got ready to go? Three. Three. Three. Nice.

[01:00:09] Where should they go? Uh, Bama's blue Frenchies. Bama's blue Frenchies. All one word or just on Facebook or like, can they run out of their house and just scream that? They'll just scream that. They can. Yeah. It will. It's happening. Santa Claus. Santa. What? Is Santa Claus real? Emma blue Frenchies on Facebook. Yeah. Yes. That little, that little cow patch one. What are you doing with that one? That's my favorite one. Um, I don't know. Is that a keeper?

[01:00:40] It's asleep right now. Looking at it. Yeah. Interesting. Oh, Tom. Oh, Tom. You have no idea. I'm a sucker for a puppy. I'm a sucker for a puppy. So Kelly, you are, we, we, before the show, we talked about this, but you're a, you're a vet tech, correct? Yes, sir. So, uh, taking care of, of animals like puppies. Now, is this like a side business when it comes to, uh, uh, finding homes for puppies? Is that what goes on? Yes. Yes.

[01:01:07] So vet tech during the day, Frenchies on the side and foosball and Frenchies are the, and farming. You'll like the Frenchies the best. Yes, sir. Nice. Yes. Yeah. It's a, there, there are, there are just so many different types of breeds and, and it's hard to keep them straight because it seems like there's a lot of, um, combinations. Um, what is it? There are. Uh, we have one of our, our, uh, our colleagues at our studios. Uh, he brings in his, his dog, Marcy. She's a cockapoo.

[01:01:38] Oh yeah. Cockapoo. Yeah. And, uh, she's the, the, she's the, she's the, she's the life of the party. She loves everybody, you know, so it's. Yeah. Everything's breeding with poodles. You have libra doodles, golden doodles. Okay. You said, you said, you said cock a poo. Cockapoo. Yeah. They call them cock. That's inappropriate. Look at that thing. Look at that thing. Check them out. Who doesn't love that thing? Look at it. Oh my goodness. How old?

[01:02:07] Look at that thing. That was actually a fluffy tree tree. Yeah. She's a fluffy, uh, they're seven weeks old. Wow. Look at that. That's amazing. Damn little baby. How big is she? That is a little baby. She'll get to. You're famous. She's going to grow to be 15, 15, 20 pounds. Something like that. Eventually. Oh yeah. She should top out at that. Okay. Wow. Is that the one? Was that the one that took a dump on the mat in Georgia last week?

[01:02:34] That's the one that took that little, little, little stringy poop that she almost freaked out about. Yeah. This one or her, the sister, either one of those. I don't know. Oh my. Yeah. Look at them, Tom. Look at them. Look at them. Hey, this is a food stock live first. And if you're not on Twitch TV tonight, you're missing out. Cause these dogs are. You're missing out. Beautiful. Wow. They're so singing cute. Yeah. Yeah. So listeners, listeners, if you want a pup or, you know, somebody that wants a little Frenchie

[01:03:04] Bama blue Frenchies. Bama blue. That's right. Very cool. We're all good stuff. Finding good homes for, for, for, uh, for pets for sure. Absolutely. And spaying new year dogs and cats. Easy there, Bob Barker. Easy Bob Barker. Yeah. He ended every show with the same message. Spaying new dogs and cats. The price is wrong. Yeah. He would say, he would say, what would he say? Remember to have your pets spayed or neutered. Exactly.

[01:03:34] He did. Yeah. My wife, my, my wife, my grandmother actually still watches. The price is right. Every day. Really? Yeah. She, she cusses at the TV. Drew Carey. Drew Carey. I was going to say. Yeah. Oh man. It's how long is this show? But on the air, it's been what? Like, like 75 years. A hundred years. Yeah. A long time. Yeah. Man. Yeah. My, my grandmother in Portuguese cusses the TV out. Yeah. She gets so mad. Yeah. It's pretty funny actually. Yeah.

[01:04:04] Is it, is it for her? Like she just is, uh, is berating the people that are on the show because they're stupid? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. A hundred percent. Well, because she's been watching, she's been watching this show for, you know, whatever. Yeah. 40 years, 50, whatever it is. So she's, I mean, it's like clockwork for her. She knows. And then she, they give an answer and she just starts in Portuguese, you know, and she starts and I'm just like, I'm like, I'm like, really?

[01:04:34] I'm like, really, really grandma? Really? And she's like, ah, like she, I mean, in disgust, in legit disgust. I'm like, okay. But she just, I'm like, shut it off. She's like, no, no, no, no, no, no. Don't shut it off. Don't shut it off. So. It makes me mad, but leave it on. Okay. Yeah. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah. It's a good time, Tom. It's a good time. They are special for sure. Yeah. Oh, for sure. For sure. So. Yeah. Hey, it's, you know, we've, we've actually been at this for a while.

[01:05:03] It was more than an hour and Randy's still awake. That, that is shocking. That is shocking to me that he's still. I'm hanging on by a thread, dude. Drugs have not kicked in yet. Hanging on by a thread. But. Yeah. So, so Kelly and Wesley, it's been an absolute pleasure getting together with you guys. And hanging out. We are, we are going to be in the same room very soon here. So looking forward to that. Is there anything you'd like to, to, to mention or, or say before we, before we park company? Kelly. Appreciate y'all having us on.

[01:05:33] Sure. Some of the lower players. So we can put our two cents in. It's all about foosball. It's all about foosball. That's right. That's all about foosball. And Wesley. Um, I appreciate you having us on. And, uh, like, like she kind of mentioned, uh, it gives a little bit different perspective coming, you know, it's usually a pro or master on.

[01:05:59] And, um, um, like I said, I think Ryan's doing a great job. I'm willing to help Ryan out in whatever way he might need it. Um, I'm excited for the future of foosball and I can't wait till my next tour event. Honestly, I'm, I kind of get an itch and want to go. Oh, it's a, and it's going to be good. There's no doubt about it. And I came, I'm not going to get to go to Vegas and, uh, Randy is, I'm jealous, but yeah.

[01:06:28] Well, I'll catch up with you guys at the next one. I can. And, oh yeah, absolutely. We'll see. We'll definitely see it. Worlds for sure. No doubt. I mean, nationals look March, April, May, June, July. July. As many months. That was. Yeah. It's not that far. It'll be over and done before you know it. So we'll be here before you know it. Yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah. I'm sorry, Tom. I'm sorry. I've been in rare form tonight and I'm sorry.

[01:06:59] I'm sorry. Listeners. What are you apologizing for here? What are you talking about? I've been, I've been trying to hold back. I'm, I'm like. Hold back. Oh, you have no idea. Oh dude. I'm telling you. I've been trying to just not be a lunatic tonight. And I know I've been a little bit of a lunatic, so I'm sorry. You know, any night or any show we can, we can talk about a Portuguese grandma. I think we're way ahead of the game. Oh, you have no idea. Yeah. Step brothers, Will Ferrell, John C. Riley. She loves that movie.

[01:07:28] Oh, does she? I could do this all day. Oh, you have no idea. Yeah. Yeah. My grandmother doesn't speak English, Tom. She only speaks Portuguese, but he can cuss like a sailor. My goodness. Yeah. Now we know where this comes from. Okay. Now I get it. What do you, what do you mean? Yeah. I mean, now we have a genetic reference we can make. We know. You know, we can understand. We get it. Yeah. And we appreciate it. So. Yeah. All right.

[01:07:59] And I didn't drop one guesswork. You did. I'm proud of you, but you were great. Yeah. Professional. There you go. Yeah. It's, uh, it's so funny because when we were together at, uh, at, uh, TKO and we're wrapping up the weekend and Ryan was there and it was Adam and Clay and, and, uh, Randy and, and, uh, they forced me to curse. They forced me into it. I did not. They, they, they forced me to, to say bad words. And, and it was, it was one o'clock in the morning.

[01:08:29] So nobody was listening, but Hey, you know, um, I, I, and Clay is on, by the way, he's on, uh, on, on Twitch TV and he says lies, lies. So is Adam. Yeah, no, absolute lies. You're an adult. You make those decisions. Yeah. I tried to, I tried to do that once with the cops, right? Like it wasn't me officer. They forced me. Right. And it didn't, it didn't matter. It didn't matter. It doesn't fly. Yeah. It wouldn't fly in court.

[01:09:00] Well, guys, uh, let's get together soon, but, uh, you guys are welcome anytime back in Foos Talk Live. Anytime you're, you're just bored and you want to hang out, we're, we're looking forward to having you back. Thank you so much. Tom, I appreciate it. Absolutely. Randy, be good, man. Try and, try and stay out of trouble if you can. Okay. Uh, well. Whatever. Whatever. Thanks for coming on guys. Appreciate it. Thanks for having us. You're welcome. Absolutely.
